1. Do you not need to dry it before you burn it for a clean efficient burn or just throw it in?
2. Just looked at a Dalen 2052 on you tube looked very slow, the 2054 looked faster about the same speed as the hakki 1x42 which I have but the hakki has extra things like hyd slew conveyor and on new ones a filter in the Shute to remove small debris.
3.
Hi can't remember if I gave it too him or not, message him if he still a member that was long time ago, yea not going bad down here, u still busy on logs and kindling?

4. I use a 3hp sip electric motor extractor like the one in the link above, threw all the bags and connected a pipe to the outlet that goes straight into a grain trailer.
5.
mike its wyn from wale ive noticed someone on here asked you for my number a few years ago did you give it to him ? how's it going anyway ?

6. Been a very slow season with the mild weather, so got lots left ready to go for next winter so a head start:thumbup:

Sawdust

Give it to a local farmer for cattle bedding
8. Are you going to be using that for making kindling?
9. Don't think that sounds any louder than a tractor although it does whine a lot, does any one know how loud the 1x42 processor electric motor is?
10. Thanks for the info it looks like there could be a large saving by using electric, got to get a price for 3 phase to be installed which probably will pay for itself in a coupe of years in savings on diesel, as for sawdust blocking the motor we have a pipe on the sawdust outlet and a electric blower sending all the sawdust into a trailer, or is it the small amount of sawdust that drops underneath the problem?
11. I think the processor I am looking at needs more than 13 hp, it's 15kw what ever that converts to?
12. Yes I do mean diesel tractor as for resale that why I am thinking of combi pto and electric, plus can still use it on tractor if needed say if cutting logs not in the yard.
13. This is similar fuel use to me but just think apart from diesel cost it's wasting money by letting a tractor just sit there clocking up hours and wearing it out, was thinking that 3 phase would free up a tractor and save money.
14. So if the processor motor is 15 kw how would that work out if you take the smallest difference in electric and diesel (17.5p - 13.5p) 4 pence over a day of say 8 hours running? Thanks
