  1. can any one recomend a pair of chainsaw gloves with a good grip? I'm currently using a pair of gloves with a rubber grip but no chainsaw protection as I like to feel I have a good grip on the saw unlike with the leather protective ones that seem to polish up on the parm and loose grip and no feeling through them.

  3. yeah i've looked at them but being at the lower end of the market i was thinking would it really last.
  4. im looking for a saw do start doing some chainsaw carvings, well have a bit more of a go at it with. I brought a dime tip bar and chain but really want another saw to do the carving with to the one i have already for blocking out. Any suggestions on saws that you can get a 1/4" sprocket or even any one selling one?????
  5. no I understand why u fill it with water the gas in it is heavy and wouldn't actually leave till you forced it out. I won't be making it a friend who works for local fire service will.

  7. i love it, arnt they a bit fiddly getting the ash out of them tho??? any other tips for making them other than filling them up with water first???

  9. Yeah it's real she's called lady, it's actually my mums dog we did have a lasa till just befor Christmas. Now we are looking at getting some sorta nova scotia duck type thing not terribly sure how you spell it to be honest. Why you not put ur mut up Cern?

  13. Many thanks again for the rope again Steve gona get them learning there knots this week. So they can set up a 80+ft ariel runway for family camp this year. Will have to see if we can arrange a time for you and your boy to come down and have ago.
  14. you know he wont do that, coz his wife says its gd for the wild life, I think not so much if it lands on one of our scouts, ill try arrange it some time so we can get a bunch of us down and do some felling and get the scouts to drag the brush and logs for us thanks steve ill call you in the week
  15. would it be okay to come and pick it up next weekend and ill dip in to scout funds to get you a bottle of something for it.
  16. yeah im a scout leader for the 6th ipswich, dont think we would get away with bondage kits with kids:thumbdown:, straight jacket would be great for some of the kids tho.
  17. yeah would be very much greatfull, will have to arrange how i can get them now :-s

    I was told all climbing gear has the potential to last 5 years, and after that it is thrown away despite usage or wear and tear, altho if gear wears out befor that its taken out of service straight away. how do you guys throwning away karabiners every 6 months afford it???

  21. How many Kn's are there in a tonne, or point what of a tonne is it?? its a measurement Ive never had to work with before so have really no idea.
