  3. easy rerepair ther mick short lenth off threaded bar 2,washers 2,locking nuts be like new again

  6. has a short v,belt from engine to clutch about 2ft in lenth max ,i did think about a tension system 1,st off when the guards down shouldnt be a prob been looking it appears only warner make them @ the mo
  7. but would the 252 clutch be strong enough for all that weight off the pred head stock, the pred has a toothed belt on the final drive not a v,belt so when the cutter jams theres no slipping the clutch takes all the pain thus leads to failure ,when its not grinding the cutter wheel is completly covered with no axcess, thers not enough room for a tensioner system

  9. thats a lot off gearboxes, were they under warrenty
  10. found a quick cheap fix for the clutch failure on these grinders no doubt a few will pick out a problem or 2, well we have removed the clutch completly & replaced it with a taper lock pully then reset the brake on the oppersite side to run free & are fabrecating a sliding guard for the cutter wheel that can be dropped over the cutter wheel when not grinding as it is now live drive if any one has any suggestsion on any improvments on this feel free to coment . dean will be pm you regarding a bit off metal work
