  1. Your too kind mate:blushing: I think you'd make a good splicer mate! and your already down with the whipping!! haha Bender-The best advise i can give is to get on a splicing workshop with nod. You'll learn tons. If your going to one of the trade shows then stop by on the splicing stand and ask a few questions. Its quite hard to explain things sometimes in writing...............well it is for me!!
  2. I think you've got the wrong impression of me mate!! Im doing it with treevolution and thats where there based..................and there's lots of sheep!! haha If you are struggling for an assesser then give us a ring mate. Its tha aa trade show mate,you going?
  3. Haha,i try my best!! Thats sweet mate,bit different to sheffield! haha. Works still steady at the min but picking up slightly. Im splicing at the aa show next week so that'll keep me occupied and then im off up snowdon for my LOLER course. I tried ringin you last week about an assesser. I take it you got it sorted?

  11. Sail makers palm there called mate. Its amazing what your fid can get caught on. If you catch just a couple of strands it'll stop your fid dead!! Splicing with a thorne in your hand!! Now thats commitment:001_tongue:

  16. Its actually 11.7mm i think but feels more like a 13mm rope. You must have huge big manly hands unlike me:001_tongue:
  17. the standard one isn't that long actually,just wanted some to splice really just to see what its like...........i'll sell it ya if you want though mate:lol:
  18. Got the standard poison ivy too but not spliced that yet. Its a really nice feeling rope,looking forward to having a climb on it and see what all the fuss is about!! haha.

  22. Nice work mate,bet it was lovely and itchy in this heat! Any trouble with nesting birds? We've got loads booked in but they've all got bloody birds in!!
  23. Yeah tachyons a tad harder!! haha. There's not many people like splicing it. The marlow stuff that you had is great to practice on though,the cover on it is really baggy unlike tachyon. Like i say if you bring your rope to the show and i'll show you how i do them...........if you can wait that long! haha

  25. Ive not tried the elios but i have got a petzl altios and its awesome!! Extremely light and very comfortable. Brilliant in the summer:thumbup1:
