  7. Yep it's all getting way too complicated for me and my very limited electrical knowledge now, I have booked it in with an auto electrician next tues. Hoping it's not going to be too much money, the trucks been a bit of a money pit lately!
  8. Right well I changed the fuse earlier, everything seemed ok all lights worked as they should....... For about 5 mins, I started the truck and left it running for while and then noticed smoke coming out of the dash, I quickly turned the lights and engine off and pulled out the new fuse. Now I'm really stuck I've got no idea what to look for, what would cause it to start getting hot and smoke?
  9. I have just been out to have a look and noticed that the number plate lights aren't working either, does this point it more towards a blown fuse?
  10. Thanks for the replays so far, I'm a bit useless when it comes to electrical problems but I will take a look this afternoon and report back.
  11. Just wondering if anyone on here has had this problem before and could point me in the right direction. basically the tail lights don't come on when I turn the lights on but the brake lights still work?? I have read elsewhere that it might have something to do with the towing electrics but I've got no idea where to start? any help would be appreciated.

I just wanted to ask if anyone here had any experience with one of these cheaper blades, if so are they any good? or is it a matter of buy cheap buy twice.
