  1. had something like that at a small animal adventure park climbing a diseased ash the core was just dust. Just closed my eyes thought - im over water and up i went.
  2. coupla of big leylands last day cutting rings off and pushing onto a log pile that had been made at the bottom by the chipper donkeys minute later hear a shout neighbor had come round saying id hit his bmw i said no way he took me round sure enough there lay a chunk of wood, one of the rings had sent a bit flying nxt door OOOPs.

I lost my bottle 3 years back 60ft had to come back down, month later i started working with another group of lads got my confidence back big challenge was goin up 80ft dead acacia covered in ivy that took a while. funny really only just changed my harness coupla months back as my old weavers bless its sh#'/y old leather was bein held togther by baling twine (loler who?). Learn to trust ur kit never go wrong.
  5. been climbing in mine for 2 plus months now love it fantastic bit of kit, but seeing as i had spent the last 4 plus years in a weavers what a change.
  6. ITS HERE finally over 2 month wait but ive got it no thanks to honey bros i was gettin a bit miffed at the wait plus the fact theyve sent wrong colour helmet and visor but i aint gonna quibble bout that at least ive got it.
  7. Is it strictly a tractor tool? I may have been blind but was wondering cost price to buy/parts? quite into my firewood got access to several estates for firewood.

Thanks guys was hoping that someone might come up with an idea for around the grand mark, spoke to him again this morning after taking a more experienced climber with me we both came up with 2k customer said "no thanks" this fella rang me once before hes nuts he felled a monster willow right beside the river with a 26 and tractor got his chainsaw stuck just cutting it all way round and pullin with the tractor, also since Id last spoken to him hes been snapping lumps of the trees with a teleporter.
  9. Sorry should of explained a little better he wants them down to about 15 feet high and really theres no chance of getting them lower as theres no way a stump grinder could get to all of them. Wants them down as they are starting to drop sizeable lumps of dead. you can never tell in photos so i will say these mothers are around the 80ft mark.
  10. Need a bit of help with beasty the client has grumbled at quote so far and wondered what others might put on. Theres buildings nearly all the way round a power line and there right beside a river overhanging boats. drop zone is about 20 square feet. Any ideas?
  11. looks fun. agree with the others somewhere between 4 and 10 grand. How many climbers in your team?
