  7. A snotty nosed corporal that let power go to his head. We were waiting to go on exercise in Germany and had been put in a Gym on safari beds and I part stripped a bed down so when someone sat on it it would fall apart, just a daft prank but this corporal saw me doing it and ordered me to put it back together. I told him no and he started screaming at me.... With that the whole flight stood up behind me and he buggered off with the right hump only to come back with the squadron W/O and a handfull of RAF Police. I looked around and everyone except four of us were still standing. Handcuffs, guardroom, flight home then marched infront of the station commander to be given 28 days a piece on A wing (soldier on wing). While I was in there the C/O applied for the discharge of two of us.
  8. RAF Regiment for two years. My dad wouldn't let me join the Army cos we have relatives in NI, so I joined the Rockapes instead and did a tour there anyway. Left in 81 after a brief visit to Colchester.
