    Yeah that was a great weekend. Heres a pic of Steve presenting Dave D with his cheque for £2010 that you lot raised. £700 of that was donations and the rest from the auction.....

    Free climb, if you get a bit tired on the way up just side strop in for breather then carry on until you've found a decent anchor point. Not recommended for novices of course.....

    A snotty nosed corporal that let power go to his head. We were waiting to go on exercise in Germany and had been put in a Gym on safari beds and I part stripped a bed down so when someone sat on it it would fall apart, just a daft prank but this corporal saw me doing it and ordered me to put it back together. I told him no and he started screaming at me.... With that the whole flight stood up behind me and he buggered off with the right hump only to come back with the squadron W/O and a handfull of RAF Police. I looked around and everyone except four of us were still standing. Handcuffs, guardroom, flight home then marched infront of the station commander to be given 28 days a piece on A wing (soldier on wing). While I was in there the C/O applied for the discharge of two of us.

    RAF Regiment for two years. My dad wouldn't let me join the Army cos we have relatives in NI, so I joined the Rockapes instead and did a tour there anyway. Left in 81 after a brief visit to Colchester.

    I'd say yes and I would say it's a German Shepherd but I wasn't sure how you spell Shepherd so I said Alsatian.... Alsatians are smooth haired.

    My 13 yr old Jack has a thing about tidying up and is always putting things in the bin. I think you'll find it's an Alsatian Rupe.

Frank, I'll pay you back the postage at Capel mate.......which brings me on to the presentation, I'm having a large cheque made up to be presented to Dave at Capel. It'd be great if everyone who played a part in this could be there for the group pic......
