  6. It's your lucky lucky day Martyn!!! I'm looking to change and therefore might sell my rig if the offer is good. Large size Weaver harness, 35m of blaze, 2 prussiks and two krabs. If you're interested I'll post some pics tomorrow.

  9. Cancel your order mate. I'm more than certain Justin will be able sort you out. I'll bring a spare climbers lid just in case anyone needs it:thumbup1:
  10. Hey Gareth I've been mulling this thread over for a bit and have come to the conclusion that I want this timber but dont have the means to shift it. If you could deliver it to my yard I'd be more than interested in it.
  11. Liking that:thumbup1:You're gonna be as good as Rich and Hama at reductions soon:thumbup1:
  12. I like the look of that, how much Yve?
  13. I think it burns way too hot Nick, I just took a few bits from my yard the other day cos I was in a rush and the bits were already cut to size. Wont be using anymore though. Saying that, if I had nothing else and someone was giving it away I'd use it before I switched the central heating on.
  14. I wish digital camera's had been about when I started out on my own. I laugh about it now but I spose I'm lucky to be alive considering the jobs I took on without proper kit. I would always improvise until I'd saved enough to buy the right gear. My first climbing kit consisted of a rock climbing harness, a train towing rope to climb on(brother in law worked on trains and nicked it for me) sash cord for prussiks and two steel screw gates......
  15. Thats what I use, got two, one with a trimmer and one with a saw head for heavier stuff but I disagree with 'impossible without it'. When you first start off without a pot to wee in a pair of shears will still get the job done. Save a few quid from each job towards a hedge trimmer and bobs yer uncle.
  16. Nice job!! At first I thought how hard that must of been without a long handled trimmer then I remembered how I used to do it when I could'nt afford one. By hand with shears.
  17. You could easily do the same with Gloria and the new trailer. Btw what is the trailers name, Trevor?.....
  18. I took a stove off a customer recently, they'd put it out for scrap so I took it so I could put it in a field shelter up the yard. The back has a split in it and is warped, all due to running the stove too hot.
  19. Hello gingerking, sorry you lost your lid but its probably a blessing in disguise if you get the Kask. They're a great lid and can be fitted with a slick looking Peltor visor like mine instead of the topgun thing. Some will tell you that they are too hot to wear but dont listen to em, they're the ones that moan about everything lol.
  20. Thats no problem at all Josh. I've taken on brash draggers that work full time elsewhere then worked for me aswell on a s/employed basis. All they have to do is call HMRC and declare what they are doing. You even get three months grace before having to notify them of your intention.
  21. I just like the idea. Fit a decent little micro chipper like a Greenmech or Jobeau so that it can be quick released and you got the ideal little combo for a small outfit. Release the chipper for those leave chip on site jobs or bring along the combo and cart the chip away.
  22. Thats the answer I think, the doors curing:thumbup1:
  23. Yeah I know thats why I'm still posting and not at A n E.....Singed me arse hair though.... At least I cant smell the metal above the burning hair so it must have worked. Cheers Mark:thumbup1:But what was the orange about?
  24. It is what it is, suitable for a gardener or small one man band outfit. Looks pretty good to me for the right person.
  25. For christ sake dont put idea's in his head Dave, he's sick enough without encouragement.....
