  1. Get it done then, just inform said parties of potential problems in the future.
  2. At least it's the right colour! Never had any dealing with the Laski chippers, had a Laski grinder and that was as well built as the rest on the market.
  3. well they do and thats why they do it. and some couldnt care less it it has a TPO either. shame, that was a lovely looking tree.
  4. should be good when i gets here, i spoke to husky at capel and there playing it to there advantage with the time thing, they field test every modifacation done for a period of time and the way they see it they have NO top handle market at the moment so why rush and bring a piece of rubbish out. I think there taking there time to make sure its the best out there when it does come. who know though.
  5. mine has done 150 hrs now and never misses a beat, great machine. the streachy roller spring is a known problem and greenmech will sort it for you.
  6. i run a rayco 1625 sj, along the lines of a vermeer 252. as good as the other machines out there, down to your personal choice. If you can afford a bit more you could get a 38hp Laski 4 wheeler and at there price is a banging deal.

  10. 10 were done a few week back in our village by travellers. My lad had his cut off his L200. i wouldnt worry to much just put a piece of pipe in its place, a diesel wont fail an mot as its only a smoke test.

Just go at your own pace till you understand it and can complete the questions in the work book. Dont get too hung up on things it is a really good book to work through. I got the new book in feb this year and did it in a month but i had done the older book a few years back so it was a refresher really.
  14. No, we have ours for 2 months now and im wondering how i managed with out it (i have a gm 220 but its a heavy old girl) the verticle rollers are good aswell, very little "whipping" when you put bent stuff in. Its in a totally different class than a TW.
  15. there not greasable on the main rotar and the ones they fit are made out of galaxy!
  16. yes all breaings are proper size and greasable not those little chocolate ones.
  17. i have 2 greenmechs one being a quadchip, great machine and twice the machine of a tw150, its on a turn tabel for a start!!!! 1 maintanance is easy enough, greasing is a 30 second job. 2blades are easy to rotate if a little fiddly, no worse than a tw150 though. 3 yes blades can be sharpened at locak shop no problem, you can also put greenmech round blades on, they last longer but need sending away. 4 dont know a cost of a new set of blades but the round ones are about 30 pounds and it takes 2 so not really a big deal, i will go onto round blades when my square ones are blunt as the round ones dont damage as much and are much quiter in use. thw Tw150 imo is am out dated and very basic machine for not much less money than a fresh new design.
