Robert"Nod" knott had advertised a workshop on Facebook but due to circumstances this had fallen through.He offerered to do a free one day talk on Excercise/movement in tree climbing instead if enough people were interested.I had a week's holiday booked so this would be an excellent way to start in and sounded perfect for my healthy new lifestyle! Firstly i had to get to Stowe near Buckingham for 10 a.m on Saturday....So i packed my Pick up and headed South....After a few hours i arrived here!

What a superb day at Stowe with Nod and Woodenhand.Will post pictures and details once i've found somewhere to sort through the days photos.

Arbtalk has been upgraded...and so have i.Fit as a fiddle and with my sights set higher than ever i have taken a week off and right now i am en route to meet a very interesting man indeed.

Such an interesting thread David.I use my local Trees as passage of time indicators.To me nothing shows a greater natural impact.As always,great pictures!

It's on Kev's land in the Lake District. Not measured it but it's tall enough.[ATTACH]222113[/ATTACH] The Lodge and fish pond are down there....

What a fortnight of contrasting weather!...it's was almost tropical up here then we have this week of constant wind and rain.Had some slimey climbs.Mostly covered in Pigeon crap too!But the week is nearly over and then i am off to Kev's Kingdom for his 40th Birthday celebration in the Forest.🌲🌲🌲🌲.....Stay safe up there Arbtalkers!
