  1. Ben,i Don't know how compatable It is with other climbing sysyems...but i would imagine it could..it just kinks and un-kinks the rope.(very smoothly)

  5. With hand over hand....one handed when moving around the crown (Similar to Spiderjack)...so versatile.

  8. :thumbup1:I.C Trees i reckon you will get on with it,,,it,s like an Oldskool-newschool Gadget,,,A METAL PRUSSICK.....stronger and more refined that a fibre rope.....Simples. instead of pulling a lever like a spiderjack...you are tapping the ZZ and it responds so organic and "Glides" down the rope as stated in the mannual...but feels like a regular Prussick:thumbup1:.
  9. from the moment i left the ground i had a smile on my face:biggrin: it does what it says on the tin.....11.7 mm rope and a pulley saver made todays climbing quite exciting!

I,ve just had my first day working with a Petzel Zig Zag....i,ve fallen in Love:blushing: okay...i,m gonna be the first to say it, "IT,S BETTER THAN A SPIDERJACK!" simply,it is so well manufactured and with a featherlite touch to control it. And so tactile! even if you just borrow one to climb one tree you will also fall in love with this design and function ICON..this thread is for Pictures and Comments about the ZIGZAG. this picture is entitled,"The climber":001_smile:
