  3. There are literally millions of things to see at Kew...we need an Arbtalk get together and I will organise it.....im off down to the river...I hear there is a BBQ:)

  5. Sun and blue sky....you don't even notice the A380 overhead (600 passangers!)
  6. Following the Buzz of the crowds of people I head to the boating lake and the Pineapple island....great for kids:thumbup:
  7. But when you head towards the main entrance and shops...you will find the tourists.Kew Gardens isn't only tge largest collection of living plants in the world, it is also a buisness and tourists and their money are easily parted.
  8. You wouldn't think it but the Queue...for Kew:D was 100 yards or more down the street....but this place is enormous! It never feels crowded...the mock Roman arch is over 250 years old.

Every day's a nice day in Kew...just had my lunch on the grass outside Queen Charlottes cottage which is hidden away deep in the gardens...basically it was a summer house...I can just imagine Mendiplogs and Sonia right at home here:D plenty of fireplaces and a solid dependable Banister rail....(my surname is Banister so I really appreciate a good one!)
  10. This place really is an Oasis within the concrete jungle....and its only ten minutes walk from my home:thumbup:
  11. The Rhododendrons look very striking leading up the the Japanese Gate.
  12. Hi Wolfie...no climbing kit today...although I did climb a large Cedar here for my interview last year....this would be nice to climb:rolleyes:
  13. Just arrived at the Liongate entrance of Kew Gardens:cool:
  14. Another warm and sunny day!....so I'm off to the Big Garden.
  15. I'm up early again!....cos i'm feeling so positive about life and I had such a great day yesterday made complete with an Awsome tree climb at the end of the day with my mate...no better way to end the day!:)

  18. Not used an Oregon bar for years...only Stihl. But use a 14 inch Sugi on my MS200T and 20 inch on a 372xpg...really like them both especially the top handle...great balance and feels well made:thumbup:
  19. Ha ha! Nice one Mr Egg:thumbup: I knew someone would ask that. And being half Malaysian half Chinese she is defo eye candy! I did take her picture but she made me delete it cos the wind blew her skirt up!

What a beautiful day so far!...went for a long cycle up to the lake near Wimbledon and met a lady friend of mine who is Originally from Borneo.Enjoyed a coffee with her but got into an friendly argument about which was the better tree climber...the Squirrel?.....or the Orang utang? I let her win....im a sucker for a beautiful woman;)

I am topping the scales at approx 15.5 stone:eek: I need to count the calories these days... for lunch I have steamed veg and chicken and 2 litres of spring water..ever since I hit 46 my metabolism has slowed right down...a couple of months and I should be down to a leaner 14 stone....will keep you posted Mr V.....okay, the Sun's rays are pouring through my window...off to take some photo's and some Cycling!
