  1. Monkey Puzzle is one of my favourite grains...reminds me of Pineapple
  2. Great thread Arborlicious. It,s great to see someone who clearly thinks outside the box...or rather cube.
  3. A great experience for Ozzy and nice to be back up in Northumbria to catch up with the lads....
  4. Got a super deal with bar, chain and charger and they threw in some chain oil too.Didn,t get the pig tail lanyard although I do rate them for larger saws.
  5. After the Silky Saw it is probably my favourite cutting device.Never ran out of power with the old 300 battery but they have improved it further.
  6. There is one item that I had a couple of years with and miss.Used it as my main go to pruner for two years at Premier. There is now a new version and I had to have it.
  7. And he is very familiar with tree climbing especially the ZigZag
  8. Oscar enjoyed seeing all the kit. He,s very much like me.
  9. Don,t want to say anymore on this thread regarding current events with the climbing community at the moment but suffice it to say I am doubley kitted out.
  10. Boots are just as comfy as Airstreams but feel a lot sturdier.
  11. Great to see Phil there and Mr Gusthart. They kindly gave Ozzy a cap.He has a kids one but he will treasure this one.It made his day
  12. I shall keep them and take them to Meindl and see if I can get them re-soled. I have heard it is possible providing they aren't too worn. You can never have too many pairs of boots.?
  13. It,s all about Self-betterment or Self-improvement if you prefer.I wish to become the high performance version of myself and get the very best out of life.I certainly have more money in my pocket and that leads me nicely into the events of this morning.I usually get a couple of years out of my work boots.Although these are still good for dismantling they are almost slick on the bottom and useless and unsafe on the ground.Had several pairs of Airstreams and I love them but recently I have been very impressed with the Arbpro range.I haven,t been up to see the good folk at Gustharts in a long while and as I had my Grandson with me it could be a kind of "rite of passage" for him to visit the shop for the first time ....
  14. Hi Mr Stubby and a Happy New Year! Not as many as there used to be sadly....I do appreciate a good Turbine but Windmills are my favourite.I have always wanted to live in one.A bit like Windy Miller.[emoji16]
  15. Hey Khriss! Great profile picture. Two of my favourite things after Trees.Bicycles and Windmills. When I lived in Holland I would search them out.
  16. I need to get myself an Espresso machine.I can only get one at McDonalds at this time of day and a double only costs £1.....anyway it,s Friday (I think) I am off for my first workout of 2020 and I have Michael Bolton on the radio singing,"Love is a wonderful thing, make ya smile in the pouring rain" and all is well in my world. I loved the music in the 80,s (although it was released in1991?‍♂️) Almost the weekend Arbtalkers!
  17. And with a start like this I cannot help but feel uplifted this morning...

  21. This year it really IS going to be the Year of the Fox?
