  1. Hey Ben! You need a thread for your stuff..always entertaining. Are you still making music? You had a Musicman Stingray 5 string yeah?
  2. Got some super slow mo chop saw action...Some may find it boring but it is rather satisfying watching as the chips fly out and logs tumble ultra slow....
  3. Bit obsessed with filming slow motion stuff at the monent....if only i knew how to share it on here.Shall have to work it out.
  4. Been using the Smaller TR6 and ST6 this week....these smaller units still pull the branches through well.
  5. Interesting pic Darrin....
  6. Well thank you Mate...and i am pleased you took the time to read it from the start. It makes the most sense like that.A simple tale to give how determined i am when in desperate times and how my life has unfolded since and my absolute love of Trees and Tree work....and life!
  7. Art ropeguide is a really well crafted and workable fricton/rope/cambium saving device that's for sure...an alternative and my favourite is the Teufelberger pulley saver.
  8. Like Mick said,it's either off or on...no idle droning on...it's a very peaceful place to be up a tree with an E-Saw.
  9. Meanwhile.........My morning view is getter better.....and better! Have a great day Arbtalkland.
  10. At least i was kept busy yesterday at my workstation not to notice the awful forever changing wintery weather.Just busy BUSY with the chop saw and forever taking my hoody and jacket on and off all the time as the rain, sleet and warm sunshine alternated....Still,had a very productive day.
  11. Let's get this week over with.Looks like a better start this morning.
  12. Bet the 350's sound nice Paddyvero?
  13. What a fantastic structure! Shall have to walk it after the Arb show.
  14. Beautiful wood Laburnum....and a VERY distinctive odour when it's cut.
  15. It's well worth the price tag....to fully charge it took 1 hour 40 minutes
  16. Yep i've used it a few times but i prefer the Stihl.
  17. Old man's car is fine by me! I am a Grandfather afer all...like the 160T it's not how something is perceived to look like that matters to me but how it performs. And i've used both the Husqvarna and now mine and like Steve said the possible reason for the quieter Stihl may be down to it Mini Rollomatic bar and tiny chain.
  18. I actually think it looks very futuristic...streamlined. it feels well balanced too.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
