  1. [ATTACH]214327[/ATTACH My day is starting well.Just trying to source sone breakfast....Got a nice message from (Ex) Mrs Fox...i'm going to meet her in London and catch up.She has given me the silent treatment ever since i left the South. But i am glad we can now be the best of friends. The mist is lifting now and the sun is coming out so should be a great day.
  2. I can relate to Stefan in that respect for sure...My life is about Control of what benefits me and those around me.I am realising that life is about helping people and that starts with yourself....My life is about to start a new chapter.Nothing i do is soul destroying,i can even xhip Hawthorn with a smile on my face (just wear thick gloves and crack on).
  3. This new routine has already sent my positivity levels through the roof and life has become even more fullfilling....just another string to my bow
  4. Hello Mr V...its been a very long time since i drank during the week.I got it down to just at weekends. It will now be just on special occasions. My new routine is far more enriching.Picture my day if you will...I wake at about 4 30 a.m I take the dog out(or go to work where i climb trees...or drag branches)....watch a Reg Coates video(other tree work videos are available) as i eat my breakfast....i then go for a walk by the riverside and Cathedral..i then meet my Son/Grandson and we go for a walk and explore nature....i will then go to the Gym for an hour followed by a coffee and watch the world go by and log into Arbtalk. When i put my mind to it i do something and my determination is unstoppable!
  5. Good morning Mick...This is my new take on the Gym.I love it...it gets easier...i am there to completely change myself....i love utilising all the machines. There is a great atmosphere in the club. It's exciting talking about nutrition and working different muscle groups..I will be doing Yoga after my first month...and getting out on my old faithful bicycle too. I just love the results i am getting from intense training.
  6. next target is three weeks away.See what one month will look like.....i am enjoying it very much. Still have something very exciting going on at work which will be revealed soon i hope Until then,Enjoy the rest of the weekend Arbtalkers!
  7. The sun even came out although it's bitterly cold. But that's ok,i like the cold.I can Focus.Lost over half a stone and had some muscle gain.Sleeping very well and feel pretty damn good.
  8. Went for an early morning walk yesterday.Felt 100% content and happy.A good place to be in life!
  9. I have done the thing that for me was the hardest...Actually making a real effort to do something which i thought was impossible. Seven of the hours alone have been continous Spinning on cycling machine and that is tough!...But a five times a week one hourly workout will be a permanent part of my life!
  10. So as my life has reached a plateau in that i am in a great job, have loving family and friends around me and more recently got back in touch with Mrs Fox after nearly 3 years!
  11. And a Coffee in the evening as i watched the Party goers stumbling around on the cobbles outside.
  12. So after today i will have completed seven days of healthy eating combined with 14 hours of Controlled Excercise! Had an alcohol free weekend too.Celebrated yesterday with a Vegan Burger after the Gym (apparantly it's the best time to eat as your metabolism is at it's highest)
  13. The morning is my favourite time to go...it's empty.
  14. The staff are excellent, friendly and give you advice on Everything. They work out what's best for you, your body and it's right on my doorstep.I was advised tgat if i wanted to make and see a dramatic change then 1 hour four to five times a week would do it....That's what i would do! But after i had completed my own personal chanllenge...One full week. No matter what. How heavy my working week was or how bad the weather got i would get to the Gym each night and do two hours of workout.....i am just about to leave for day seven....
  15. I am training in a modern clean enviroment where i can look out of the windows and see my City...and some other landmarks i have said goodbye to!
  16. Don't know why, maybe i just get it now about the Balance of Diet,Lifestyle and Excercise but i am hooked.
  17. if i was to get totally fit for 50 (less than a year and a half away) i would have to combine healthy eating with my job and do some Cardio/Weights on a regular basis. Now if you remember,i have tried the Gym once and only once in my life...didn't really like it.It stunk...was boring and a car journey away (free sessions from a customer for clearing up some windblown trees) so i never went again...But after having my HAVS review i had a interesting conversation with the doctor.Something clicked and after work i joined a Fitness Centre close to me that had been recommended by a friend...bought some suitable footgear and climbed the stairs for my induction.
  18. Not sure if it was the Supermoon.....or the advice from the HAVS doctor or watching Caisey Neistat Vlogs that did it.But today completes a very important week for me.....
  19. My favourite of all birds! Great Job...please post picture/s of finnished statue.Thanks.

    Dying Fir

Classic Coates! Perfect relaxing breakfast viewing...Great to see the perspective of the climb up on SRT from the tie-in-point.And the "Sqeak" of the high speed saw.Finnishing the top cut with the Silky is always satisfying and that VIEW..........as always thanks for sharing Reg. Im a big Fan.
  21. You are the real deal though J.B😎
  22. Ice on the cars here Mr Egg...Must admit i do like these chilly temperatures.
  23. My first harness was a full body willans T22 ..Willans are the harness of choice for many Supercars! Extremely well made but as Bolam says...why make life hard? With the floating bridge ot will provide a lot more freedom of movement than the old fixed system they had.Use it but if you ever get the chance to try a modern light harness you may feel a big difference in terms of comfort...
  24. we've had a couple of weeks on a bankside/ravine....zip lines,rigging and Winching almost everthing.Big job.
  25. It has the strangest effect on me! HOOOOWWWWLLLL!
