  2. It is a tiny chain...i call it a petrol Silky (On Steroids) precision cuts and you're winning!
  3. Cranespotting too! 500 Ton Machine that took 9 hours to set up! Here for 2 days building 3 Cranes...Made my Weekend.
  4. ok..Forget that for the next couple of hours.I've just walked across the bridge and seen this! Our New Shopping/Cinema complex is under construction and this Monster has just been spotted.Need to investigate!
  5. It's pouring down today..Best seek shelter in the Cinema.
  6. I even know my next step i want to take as far as my next goal. I need to do the "Train the Trainer" course. I am just going to relax until the Spring when i shall organise that.In the meantime it's just a case of getting my Team through each week with happy faces and passing on the things i have learned which helps keep things safe and efficient in the Tree and on the ground.I always say that it was my Favourite lecturer Dave Bentley who got me through my Blue Book and i still work to his teaching but the person who i gained the most insight from and who i looked up to the most was Johny Walker.He learned from one of the Best....Ok i'm off to get the most out of today!
  7. and going to the Gym now is part of my daily routine.It has enhanced my life......Everything about me physically has changed in some way.The only outward difference is that my Uniform in now all Size Large instead of Extra Large as it had been for a few years.My old T-shirts are baggy around my mid section but the only casualty in this has been my chainsaw trousers. They need a belt fully tightened to stay up!!
  8. i have completely turned my lifestyle round and have hit a plateau where i understand my body it's nutrition and my fitness in a way i never dreamed of.
  9. What great job satisfaction i'm getting these days! I'm in a Team Leader role now and really enjoying mentoring the newer members of staff.One lad is showing real talent in his climbing ability and use of his Silky.
  10. Had mine almost a year now.It has an "on/off switch" it's the front gaurd.Pull it back and the saw is live,push forward and when you pull the triggee nothing will happen.

  14. Happy Burns night to all Scottish Folk in Arbtalkland...i'm with my friends who are from Dundee.They always serve up a great "Ode to Haggis" and the Haggis is from Cockburns in Dingwall....with a drip of Haggis Sauce...Wonderful.

  17. Had it a long time but the sling is so good i had no use for it....
  18. Yup...adjustable bridge.Been using a sling up to now but need to put this on my harness.
  19. Morning Work Reps...BUZZING! Gets the heart pumping and keeps you warm.
  20. Both very fine pruning saws...i use a sling most of the time when cut'n'holding and havent escaped the bite of a Silky for many years...but they do command a lot of respect...
