  2. Cheers, really enjoyed the 3 days (not so much the last hour and a half!) guy certainly knows how to deliver the course content in a clear and concise way, he kept it all moving along at a good pace, and was very good at installing the confidence for us all to trust our knowledge and instinct, I'd be surprised if any of the other chaps on the course didn't pass too. ive been lucky too to have spent the past year and abit working with David, its certainly gone a long way in furthering my knowledge and experience in the world of arb. For those looking to do a PTI I'd definitely recommend guy Watson, and the lunch sandwiches at land skills training were pretty good too Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Another descent podcast worth checking out is 'climbing & rigging' by the isa. They're little video clips of basic stuff but well presented and some handy little tips too Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. I've listened to a few of these a while ago, some very interesting stuff but got put off by the poor sound quality tho, the main dude who presents has a proper annoying voice too! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  5. Yeah sorry, should have written the whole title, it stands for 'Professional Tree Inspection'. There is a precursor course to this called the 'Basic Tree Inspection' which is more suited to those who have little or no experience in tree inspecting. Good luck if you decide to do either one Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  6. Cheers, yeah, I've heard it's no walk in the park, gonna be doing a spot of reading in preparation I think Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  7. A heads up for anyone that might be interested, Land Skills Training in Dorking are running a PTI course at the beginning of June with Guy Watson, as far as I know there's still places left. Im looking forward to doing this one and have heard that Guy is one of the best for delivering this course, well worth a look I reckon Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  18. Oh the power!! Since having my 2 kids arrive (5 yrs ago) my sleep patterns are all over the place....my wife recommended 'rescue night remedy', is full of natural ingredients, incl A.hippocastanum. Doesn't really do much for me but she swears by it. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. Blue tongue is 11.7, doesn't fluff up like other ropes such as imori which i used before, the bt stays quite smooth and shiny....downside means I find it harder to pull myself up without gloves, up side is it self tends great and descents can be pretty rapid if that's what gets you going! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  20. Yes mate, been using sj with the longer release handle too and works great with blue tongue Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
