go to your local garage and get a few galls of pet/derv mix that have been drained after a fuel fill mistake, works for me ,no cost either

i use the heres fencing without the rounded tops that way if you get some pipe that will fit over the legs and tops.cut 16 rings off the pipe an inch long, weld in pairs together like pairs of glasses and slip them over top and bottom, then all you need is a ratchet strap round the middle, hope this makes sense

Now that is interesting. I have just sent out some Ash/Syc that I processed about the same time, green vented bags under a dutch barn closed on one side only. Perfect logs, even after a bit of snow on the top.
Only downside I can see with these fully vented bags is a tendency to bulge at the mesh sides. I put mine in a 5 foot trailer, the bag should be 44 inches wide, I do have a bit of side space left but not a lot. That suggests a 5 inch or so bulge each side and thats on the denser meshed sides, not had one split yet but am concerned about sending 1.2 + cube out in one !!.
A
spot on there mate,

I agree, I am sure they look at price above all else, (at least until they buy a load of rubbish that they get stuck with).
We are £60 cube, for hardwood, but have decided that if the next stock costs me more, and reduces the profit margin, I will be looking at increasing the price to maintain it. Lots of competition around here, and only one other selling by volume...but that has been on another thread...don't get us started on that one!
hi float,
sounds too cheep to me,unless your getting your wood for free. im in glos and getting £75 a cube no probs, nearly sold all this years stock, looking to put price up this year as bloody hard work and costs involved.put price up 3 years ago lost a few customers and gained a few.had a few come back after being cough`t out with cheep logs that wouldnt burn.where in glos are you?.

Yes it us every day
Have a look your self?
some dont even get that for it
No these bag are full and they are a cubic metre
