  1. Why's he got a mask on?
  2. Coconuts are good, but it takes quite a bit of patience to crack the shell away from the flesh first. The coconut water inside is good also. I wouldn't buy them in a supermarket though.
  3. Yeah, i think you might be right, everything was a bit too generic in that post. What a world we live in now, where we can't trust anything we read?! Only going to get much worse too, with the ascent of AI.
  4. Elon showing his firm grasp on reality again there.
  5. Probably. I've heard removing ancient woodland justified by the promise to plant hundreds of new trees, (into made up ground and half will more than likely die after the first year anyway). The people that make these massive decisions really have no idea. Or even worse; they do but don't care a damn about the consequences of what they do.
  6. Slightly closer approximation of an omelette here.
  7. At least Boris's garden bridge didn't destroy hundreds of acres of ancient woodland. Microsoft WWW.WOODLANDTRUST.ORG.UK

    Jokes???

  17. Well, you can keep your sweating, you mofo! We're not jealous at all. 😡 I was just glad of a nice bit of apricity when walking to school this morning.
  18. It's getting to that time of year. The Mrs mentioned turning the CH on this morning. Reckon I can turn a deaf ear to that idea for a couple more mentions but only for a couple more weeks at this rate. The woodburner won't be far behind either. I too have concerns over the size of our log supply this season, though it's all Ash and Oak St least so will last longer.

    How much?!!

Yep, massive difference between the state of people's teeth in my generation and my parents. They have a mouth full of amalgum, which has a never ending need for maintenance. By contrast I only have one cap, on a half tooth that was broken when I was about six, (playing tag at school and had a close encounter with a door handle!). Given that, it doesn't seem worth going on to one of the prepayment schemes. Better just to take the hit every couple of years and then moan about it on an Arb forum!
  21. The, (then), sixteen year old postulated a similar theory. Some thing along the lines of starting all the alt right BS and other moon battery so that when the accusations eventually came out, as he knew they would, all his Influenced fans would rush out to defend him against "The Establishment'. I thought it sounded rather too far fetched, but if indeed it was a plan, then it's certainly working.

    How much?!!

Yep, the Dental Service is broken, like lots else besides. Mine is private, but only because I used to pay almost as much for an NHS one, with a crap reputation. There wasn't much choice besides. It's the old cliché but it's a real postcode lottery, with very few winning tickets.

    How much?!!

Glad to see you used squeaky clean pliers.
  24. £90! To visit the dentist today. All it was was a check-up then a clean and polish. I was in there 10 minutes tops. Think I'll drop back to going every other year if not less. What's everyone else paying? And how frequently do you go?
