just make sure it doesnt infinge on copywrite. I just spent 2 hours editing a video to music only for youtube to say NOOOOOO. had to do the whole thing again.

are you using windows movie maker??? if so, just click on add music, then it will bring up a window, find the song you want from your hard drive, and double click it, it will automatically add the song to your clips and cut it off at the end.

haha, you broke your cherry on my thread, sweeet. In short, the answer is NO, I am taking all credit for everything, including filming myself cutting trees down. haha:thumbup: wait for this next edit, I think even you will be impressed Simon. Just hope youtube dont deny my song choice as I have tried to edit with the music this time. Tricky.

Cheers for the nice comments. Ive been playing all evening and think I may have cracked this video editing malarky. My efforts are uploading to youtube as we speak. Ive really gone to town, some clips have been re-used but hey-ho, I need some fresh footage. Keep sat on the edge of your seats lads.

Maybe he is really short on firewood? Haha Bit of a shame really seeing as the customer had said he thought yours was a fair price. Does the customer now think you were trying to rip him off? Would have been good to ask the customer to get the other chap to justify his pricing. Total up cost of fuel and other consumables, all equipment depreciation, insurance, etc etc and the customer would have realised that the other guy was going to be taking down a 70ft tree in his garden for about £25 per man per day. See how confident he feels about that. Or just ignore it. Next time you do a quote and see another van parked outside, get your customer to sign a written agreement before leaving haha.

im very similar. I took me about an hour and a half to make that 2 minutes clip. I worked my way through windows live movie maker, but couldnt even begin to try and explain how. sorry mate.

Had some rubbish mobile phone clips on my hard drive and wanted to try out uploading to youtube, had to edit them first to get them to flip over correctly. Started playing with Windows movie maker and this is what I came up with. Gonna try and get more advanced in the near future and get some better clips. Feel free to applaud or slate.
