Haha, 3 pages of tea/flask related banter. Anyway, tried the flask of water and tea bags seperatley today, was ok, but I must agree with Mr skyhuck it isnt the same. Gonna have to invest in a portable kettle. Which is best? i.e price, practicality, speed to boil etc???? (lets have another 3 pages of porta kettle arguing haha)
  5. Thats me. I have 3 days off during the festivities, Xmas eve, xmas day, and new years day.

Just a quicky, I've drank coffee non-stop for about 8 years now. Have now stopped all that nonsense and moved on to good ol' Tea. So............................................. Do I leave the tea bags in the flask all day or make it in a jug and transfer it into my flask before I leave the house????????
  10. Agree entirely with all above, years down the line you will be the one answering this question to a young aspiring T/O, and you will be answering the question with the utmost pride, because you will have been there and done it, and have the scrapes to prove it. Try asking your boss for a few minutes at the start, and end of day to explain the plan of action and then how successful a day its been.(Questioning anything you think you've missed). I dont believe you will be head down dragging brash for 8 hours, never looking up, never taking notes, never gaining any experience, its nearly impossible, Surely?? Then think yourself lucky, you could be in an office making cups of tea. muhuhuhuhuhu
  11. I love these kinda threads, soooo much better than watching I'm a celebrity. Cheers guys.

  13. I can make a harness out of vine, just like Bear Grylls.
  14. my rope only has one end, haha
  15. What is this word "ladder", that I keep hearing about??? Is it one of those false stair cases that window cleaners carry around on their shoulders?? hahaha I hate those ruddy things and would not dare go up one.
  16. customers who want to help are ace, just go get the spare harness , hand it to them and say, its their turn, 9 times out of 10 they skulk off to another corner of the garden and do whatever it is they do.
  17. Is that some sort of small fashionable dog?? usually found in a handbag. muhuhuh
  18. there was some suggestions about the boss of the company in question "checking" the work after it was completed. What exactly can any suggest could have been done to rectify this abortion?? Its not like 12 inch stubs being left, where you could clean them up. BUT, in my opinion, (which doesnt count for much) anyone let loose up a tree, with a chainsaw, should have a strong passion for what they are doing. The cuts in the pictures look like they were made by someone in a rush to get to the bank to cash the council cheque. Knowing full well that nothing would be done, and the would be no reprocussions, WELL THIS NEEDS TO STOP. IM ANGRY NOW. surely to use a chainsaw from rope and harness you get taught how to make a final pruning cut?????
  19. erm.......has nobody noticed that Mr Lofthouse is on the same trunk as the lad is cutting? the added weight will possibly dent the floor. haha only jesting, the only thing I can really spot is that you got paid to do that job and not me. muhuhuhuh.
  20. prefer it if you left your shirt on during the day tho dude, haha
  21. maybe you should try turning saw off after each cut hahahaha. or take a camelback full of 2-stroke up with ya haha
  22. 6 months Gardening leave???? please explain. haha ..... and £235 for 2 blokes and a chipper??? and waste disposal? can you come and work with me full time??? hahaha
  23. Struggle??? as in , they charge more???? right, thats it price increase hahaha. Name 5 good climbers in east yorkshire. bet you cant hahaha only joking.
