  1. Bandit 75 all the way, will last for ever. If u want to try one I'm not far for u.
  2. Hi mark had a Vermeer ok machine. Prediter never heard a good report about them. CALTON and bandit old machines almost the same machine. The new 2250 bandit great machine, I put mine out on hire and have no problems. Belt less drive, engine is sat on the back of the machine not on the head great for stabilaty.
  3. Tracked or trailed I've got a 9" tracked and a 12" trailed both bandits. If u want will call u tomorrow. Or phone me on 07818 033394
  4. Is that the system where that people put tape over the sensor, because every time u look at the front of the machine it cuts out. Like u say if your a skilled operator why would u want that.
  5. When I started my business in 2000 the first machine I got was a 252. Good machine but times have moved on but the 252 hasn't, retired it in 2005 for a bandit 2900t. Now have a bandit 2250 as well. Well built the cutting sweep is excellent, on belts, bearings and one of the good things about it is the engine is sat on the back of the machine not on top. The 252 is easy to rollover, yes ok you can put dual wheels on but then it not 35", eats bearings and where the engine is on the top it's up and down oil to the front then oil to the back the engines don't last that long nomally the back piston goes. had three engines on my machine. With the 252 if the teeth are slightly dull will bounce or drag the machine into the root. The 2250 does not bounce or move, if chipping in front of wheels of the 252 struggles to move not man anough drive pump.
  6. Can beat a bandit, reliable and very well built. Had a 90 then in 2005 upgraded to a new 150 it now has 1900 hours on the clock and all I've ever done is change blades. About 18 mouths ago got a 75 what a machine that is, now have three of them with a tracked one on order. The 150 is hardy used only on big crappy jobs. Have a look at the 75 as well as the 90 you will be impressed.
  7. I love the mewp discussions, went through this back in 2006. Looked at everything pros and cons and came up with tracked. So got a 15gt Teupen, three years later got a 23gt Teupen. Once you have one you will think to yourself wish i done this years ago. You look at jobs differently, it makes jobs quick whether its a take down, get a better reduction or putting a climber in the top of the tree or trees, keep them fresher. all the old school boys rope and harness all the way, some of the posts on here about taking dead trees down and climbing them and worrying about the cost of a mewp, I just think what price can you put on life, you get one chance. You will use it nearly every day.

  13. I looking at the new 18" SVC screen chipper. Any thoughts on it? It's there new biomass chipper. Thought about going to other tree surgeon yards or hiring it with or without operator on site clearance. Looking for new idea's.
  14. Excellent machines I run a 750 and a 635 ive got loads of attachments, go anywhere. The 200 attachments don't fit the other machines so go for the biggest you can.
  15. Towing all the time at it maxium. Had the clutch done about 15k on a recall (spings). It is the gearbox. Been on other forums the gearboxes don't seem to be man enough for towing.
  16. People know about most things on here, I've got a defender 130 tipper on a 09 plate 35k. On the way home Big Bang lost gears 5 and 6 still had the other 4 just got home other 4 not good. Any one else had problems. Just had vacuum pump, egr valve done.
  17. The bandit 2900t with radio remote good high productive machine on my second one. Had the first one for six year and I here it's still going strong. Had the second one for a year and its going well. It goes out on hire people love it
  18. Bandit all the way been running bandit chippers and stumper grinders for ten years. The first 65e was not great but then went to a 90 excellent chipper then to a 150 140hp in 2005 1600 hour blades and grease that's it. Also 90 track and two 75 with no problems. Two years a go i started hiring, people love them over other chippers. Say no more.
  19. Hi Jonathan I do quite a bit of hiring and I use it for my own work and the feedback is its ten times better than the 65. I have tree surgeons with timber wolfs and jensons that hire the 75 off me. I use the 75 more than I use my 150 bandit. I'm in the south if you want to see it and have a go, not a problem. If you want any more info contact me on 07818 033394 Thanks CHRIS
  20. The new bandit 75 i have two of them one has 300 hours on with no problems. Had a bandit 65xl had 760 hours on with no problems. The 75 is well worth a look very well built.
  21. I changed my bandit 65xl for the new 75 in July. I do a lot of hiring it was so popular that I now have another one. The first one has done 300 hour with no problems and they get a hard life. Had my 65 for 6 year with no problems that had 760 hours on it
  22. I run bandit machines I have just perchaced the new 2250 excellent little machine no belts and no bearings on cutter wheel and very well built
  23. Can highly recommend the new 75xp bandit chipper I had the first one in the country, part exchanged my old 65 xp and 2900t stumper grind for a new one as well, do a bit of hiring and everyone loves them as well as my 150 and 90 tracked all well built and far out last other machines on the market.
