So, do you have to post the link and then come back and edit it? If so it wont work as a signature.

That would be a small dog lead sir! Just for my comp climbing saw.
  3. Yes, it is a good discipline to use but I dont think that was the case here!! Flooded saw I was told!
  4. I wasn't there but apparantly the 201 wouldn't start so he used a silky! Although he is known to finish a cut with a silky when doing demos?
  5. Every picture tells a story!! Glad you captured this moment........

Thank you. Yes, I think Imight just do that, using the "find us on facebook" logo that is available. Might be the easiest way. How do you re name a link on here then? I coul duse that in my sig instead of the tiny URL.

Thank you. Now, how do I get the shorter link? I'm sure it said somewhere that you can get a direct link if you have over 50 likes. What I mean is a link like http://www.facebook.com/fairfordtreeservices withought all the other rubbish. ANyone know how its done? I need a shorter link to use on business cards etc.

  11. "nosh" means different things around the country you know!
  12. If you think that virtually any car with a years MOT will be worth about 250-400 quid, then any tipper in working order with a full MOT is virtually never going to be less than 1000.

  15. There are only two and one is old so lets hope its this one
  16. Mine cost £3 each to sharpen and there is a £1 collection charge for each pick up /drop off regardless of number of blades. so I wait till I have 3 pairs that need doing and then that costs me £20.00. I think it would be hard for anyone to compete with that, but then again my actual local stihl/timberwolf dealer charges £20 a pair!!
  17. Three pieces of ply wood that fold into a Z for storage but open up to make a three sided square with hooks at each corner for the bag to hang from. Then remove as much material from each panel as you can to make it lighter by cutting out big sections to leave just a frame?
  18. I think the small cord should go through a hole drilled in the ring. If that piece wore out and the ring dissapeared up the knot you could have big problems. Other than that I like the concept and I'm glad people are taking the time to keep trying stuff.

  20. Wear on the rope and cord is what you get from friction hitches, I dont see how this can be any worse/different.
  21. I dont think all version of word have that option pete? If you are stuck e mail it to me and I'll convert to pdf.
  22. Also you could drill through the ring to insert the small line.
  23. Very clever, I like it!! I think you might be on to something there! How about if the little cord (holding the ring) was throwline (zingit) and spliced so it was adjustable, like a little loopie? Then infinate adjustments could be made?
  24. Surely a climbing line is squezed by a hitch anyway thats what makes it work? I fit wears it needs replacing.
