Hi Guys What standard rope lengths would you expect to buy from HB eye spliced 'off the shelf'. We have suggestions of 30m, 37m and 45m for 13mm ropes. The exception being 60m for 11m ropes.

Hi Guys As an advertiser on Arbtalk and after clearing this topic with Steve, we would greatly appreciate your feedback on the ads displayed on arbtalk. How do you feel on the ads featured above and down the side of the arbtalk pages? Are they a resource for you. A sort of homepage with links to the sites you use the most? or Do you think of them as a nuisance? or Do you ignore them? Never click on them. Honest feedback would be greatly appreciated for us, Steve and fellow advertisers.

Today, we had a VERY well respected figure from the Arborist industry spend some time with us (I am not a liberty to say whom it was). Closely examining eye splices carried out by our guy and one not. They were both examined and dissected. Of course, I am going to say he was happy with our splices, but he genuinely was. The dilemma and hours of discussion followed as to how we could certify and eventually CE Mark our eye splices. We have now begun the process to be able to certify our splices and look forward to being able to supply you guys with markings to satisfy the loler examiner that your eye spliced ropes from Honey Brothers are safe and meet all the required standards. We will keep you up to date.

Hi Guys I saw for myself today, the certificate from Yale Cordage the guy we use for our eyesplicing had received. But, there is no certificate we can pass on, to say it is eyespliced by Yale factory apporoved personnel. This is a very grey area, which we would like to be cleared up also.
