  5. I'm serious, not a joke this one but don't cannonise me yet! Ty
  6. I do think the bearings could be had FAR cheaper if I knew where to look. I'm pretty sure they are not Bandits own but standard industrial items. Not wanting to do Dean out of his Xmas bonus BUT... Ty
  7. Because...IF you are a charity then I'll do it for nowt. But if you are contractors then I'll require a fee. Regards Ty
  8. Hello, Is this a volountry group or a business? Regards Ty
  9. Tony Tony Tony... (Sad shaking of head) What did I say that was so bad? Anyway... Are you going to re-invent yourself as a Screwfix Troll then? Post stuff about dry and wet rot...? Ty
  10. Tony, I look up to you. I read your threads and admire the stuff you say. No issue with you, don't read negative things into jovial posts! Go get them cowboy screwfixers now! Ty
  11. Yes, I read that BBC article too. Won't get a Frenchy doing that! Well, I may be a hard nosed bustard but the French ARE obsessed with health care. (Lord knows they pay enough towards it) And many ex-pats who live and work here recognise a far greater prelevence towards hypochondria than the British. A visit to the doctor results in 3-5 lots of pills! Pills for the problem, pills to hide the taste of the pills, pills to hide the effects of too many pills, pills for luck and ALWAYS pills that don't seem relevant to the actual problem... Ty
  12. Kneel before Hamadryad! All ye cowboy builders! Ty
  13. Maybe it's a Gyppo on Gyppo attack...? Ty:001_tongue:
  14. They really don't like us there: Tree Surgeons - Going Rate : Screwfix Community Forum Ty
  15. Tony, you are your own religious deity aren't you...? Ty
  16. I know, John, sorry. I'm tired from working alone and snappy with it. I don't see why the kid couldn't sit in the truck with the heater on and a book for the morning. Ty
  17. Showing your ignorance there friend:sneaky2: Ramadan is not obligatory until around 14 years of age although most children are brought up to fast for a day or two from a young age so like good table manners with the French, fasting comes naturally to muslim kids. Please try and stay away from refering to my religious choices, I have recently had a belly full of islamaphobia:thumbdown: what with my wedding just passed. If people want to make cracks about islam to my face they are welcome by the way, my address is on my website. Ty
  18. Hmmm lots of cash that! Ours came to 300euros the pair... Stinker that! I grease it whilst warm every use now. Ty
  19. Moron...that's a bit strong:confused1: I am a carefull observer of parenting by others as like I said before, my wife wants 3. One thing I WILL teach my kids to do will be to wash their hands often... (Unlike the French...BLERK!) Ty
  20. OOOOOOO, Ain't I just the big bad kiddie hater here... Where I see spoiled and mollycoddled and others see love and devotion. Not sure its a good precedent to set for future generations. If they get used to skiving off school for a 'sniffle' then what will they do as adults...? Ty
  21. However my Fungal friend... Remember that Firemen need to practice every week should they become stale and young men need to also 'practice' to keep the knowledge stiff and not become flaccid in the mornings. Tree surgeons are like both, need to take the subject in hand on a weekly basis and rag it over till it flops... Then pour water over it...hhhh! Ty
  22. Right... A single, self employed batchelor life it is then! with added New Zealand trekking holidays whenever... Damm those young 'uns... Ty
  23. So now what? You on a Gypsum diet? I think I'll get myself some of those pills! Or eat plaster.... Ty
  24. Hey! I said go easy on me! My wife wants 3 of 'them' so I guess I'd better get used to days off myself... I also rather feel that as my associate has another rather decent salary coming in that he is not 'as hungry' as me. I get very anxious if working days are lost as I am far closer to the 'breadline' than my collegue. Ty
