  1. There was a discussion about termination knots on here a long time back. and someone recommended putting an extra wrap. done that ever since. i climb on a splice now anyway.
  2. yup, got taught it at college, but i add a extra wrap into the knot.

  5. Yeah, my boss has had his for a month or so now, its slowly getting easier. Im still happy with how its performing. nice little saw.
  6. do you struggle getting the chainbreak off. have to pull it fairly hard over the chain itself? i do. apart from that, totally agree with you Mick.

  18. I did that on my training and assesment aswell, 2 - 3ft bit of thin bambo, sprayed it pink. and when i was doing my back cut, i would make sure that the bottom of the saw was always parallel with the stick. Worked really well. I still have this bit sitting in my kit bag.
