    wouldn't that be hard on the wrists, with all the twisting on impact? I'd like to try it on something other than clean birch.

    A chute extension would be cheaper than messing with the trailer. I made my own for the Greenmech, wasn't a big job...

    The GD trailer works great, we used one with our Jensen for a while but the Forst is too long for it..

    I have been contract biomass chipping for the last two days, I have been using the clients tractor (a 210hp new holland) to speed up production, and it certainly does! I can do 100 ton a day feeding it with mine....

    I think the lack of airflow would seriously affect the results, you'd need to use vented bags. Other than that it would work really well.

    So you think something else is killing the tree? I agree it looks a little like a Bjerkandera. I think its the cause of the die back though, it certainly looks that way anyway..

    Lawsons Cypress, one stem almost dead with a heavy coating of fungus emerging from cracks in the bark, the remaining stems have lesser amounts coming through so will probably succumb soon. Not something I have seen before...

    Down to the last 10. The winch is helping as we are on the north side so most of them lean the other way.

    This is the latest. About half felled.

    60+ leylandii to kill. This was at 9:00 This is now the trees have grown through a barbed wire fence unfortunately. The mission is still to do all 60 in a day. We'll see how it goes.
