  1. as the earlier post if the battery light is not working the unit will not charge it relies on resistance to charge same as a car system

  4. may not have hurt the piston if only on tick over i sunk my suzuki jeep other year dragged it out with the mog then all plugs out spun it over plugs in and away it went again. might want to pull plug out as suggested before then blow out barrel with an air line get all water out new plug wouldnt be bad idea nice strong spark then

  8. may be you should put on the bottom of your ESTIMATE ANY EXTRAS TO BE ADDED then if the customers asks why you can explain that you have allowed xx days and so much weight for the tipping fee if it costs more it will be added to the final invoice

  12. in the earlier post i had EA and council ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER just turn up with the police here in cambridge they were targeting everyone not just me there were several other different types of work being carried out in the street. they served me with a £300 fine unles i could produce a waste license in 7 days i think . Whwn i spoke to the EA they tell you it takes 28 days to get license .Sent my dad to the local office with cash and had a license within 3 days took it to the council all cleared up and no fine to pay. another quick note to remember if any one here gets a licence you have to keep a record of waste transporting.I use a carbon copy book you have to give a copy to the customer and get them to sign it. similar to if you use a grab lorry to clear waste they give you ticket stating where the waste is from and where it s going to.
  13. IF not you get served a notice as i did last year council were riding round with the police checking for waste licences they serve you with £300 fine unless you can produce a licence within so many days as ED says they cost 148 for 3 years then about 100 per year after that

  16. when i had only a small 8x6 shed lined it with 18mm ply then made a second set of doors to fir on inside of standard shed dooe opening using 25x25 angle setting a piece of 18mm plyin the framework of door then welding part of a concrete reinforcing sheet in place to hold the ply in . didnt get broke in to again after that. think they thought here we go nice and easy garden shed only to find second doors in front of them

  22. sparky will issue you with a cert as long as he is PART P registered if your going to be using a welder in the workshop make sure you get the right consumer unit . had to change the one in my workshop as welder kept tripping it , there are 2 types a good sparks will put you in the right direction
