  1. this is all really good to hear guys many thanks for the responses! i was starting to wonder if i was ever actially gonna be able to do anything about it! it looks though from.what youve all said that it is sortable and it dosnt have to run my life! im really interested in the diet comments, i think i have a fairly good diet.. does anyone know if intolerences can develop over time or are u born with them? as i dont think ive changed my diet to include anyhig i didnt used to eat so im guessig that they must be able to develop over time? ? 2. last october i started havig bad cramps in my stomach... after a month id had enough and thought its not some simple bug so.went to docs, after some bloods and suff he came up with irritable bowel syndrome, apparently its reeeaally common and loads of people have t and cope fine... well i lost 18lb in 3 weeks and of course work was a nightmare if i could make it at all, ive read some suff on it now i was just wonderig if anyone else suffered at all and how you manage/cope with it? if found if im climbing and my stomach cramps i might as well give up and come down as its cripplingly painful and at times its all i can do to get down from the tree.. (not a good place to be at) ive started to keep a food diary and eliminatig different food for a time to see if it makes a diff.. im also takong peppermint caps and buscopan (i was reccomended by docs) any thougts hints or ideas be well appreciated as its really gettin mw down now and work is suffering as well as me which is not ideal in any way..... 3. Well it looks at though they are going to get rid of the whole thing completely and replant with a native mix now! Cheers for all the thoughts anyways! at least ive learnt summat for next time now Sent from my GT-I9100

  5. thas interesting goaty cheers for the reply . i didnt realise u could hit the box back so hard to be honest! i was thinking i could just shape it up to start with but it does make sense though when u describe. the instant thing they arent too worried about (which makes a change)! they are ideally thinking they'd like a completely intermingled hedge of privet and box interwoven together.. from what u describe, this is clearly.not going to happen and the privet will win out.. i guess i could plant a fewer number of privet plants and hope to give the box a better chance? Sent from my GT-I9100
  6. hey guys, been asked by a customer if i can interplant privet into a straggly box hege to increase the height and structure of the hedge... the hedge is currently about 4' high and kinda fallen apart where he tops got heavy and just flopped over in a lot of places.. the bottoms pretty open and lots of holes right through basically wondering if interplanting privet along and between the hedge would work, would they survive the limited light/water? would they be able to push through to the top and above? would they cause problems for the existing box if they do survive etc... to be honest im really stumped on this one as ive never done anything like this before so really have no idea! any thoughts would be really appreciated as always! 8. Lovely stuff.. Im loving the colours on the tealights, are they left natural or do u finish them with anything? (wax/oil/varnish etc?) Sent from my GT-I9100
  9. Obviously i see it feeds on to the end of the rope, Im guessing the rope will have to have 1 spliced eye max as im assuming theres no way enough play to get it over an eye? Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2

  15. yeah i was told i may get a visit from a teacher one day through the week, and i'll just have to fill in a little hing about how good he was, attitude, punctuality etc etc. i doubt i'll be getting a visit though as he college is 120 miles away from us to be honest though they were a lot more laid back than i thought they were gonna be.. and actually seemed to know what was going on! so all is in place and jobs a goodun.. 18. haha sorry rupe! i must apologise for my terrible use of text talk! that is though the only thing i was really worried about was the form filling in as it is through the college, but ive called them today and theyve sent out a couple of suprisigly simple forms to fill in by email, he is indeed as you thought covered by their insurance, apparently if he was younger than 16 then id have had to do a crb check but because he's 17 then its all fine so it seems to be a lot simpler than i thought it would be. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  19. thats just it rupe i ent gonna do anything i dont need to be doing, only if im asked by said college or whatever. we all have to do enough paperwork as it is it seems.. i was really only wondering if there was anything particular that anyone had come up against from their own experiences when offering WE, im sure it should all be pretty simple really..
  20. thats what i would really like is to actually get him in the tree climbing (not to actually do anything but just for the experience) i'll get onto the college today and see what they come up with. i had a look through my insurance stuff and i should be insured for it, so we'll go from there Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  21. The problem rupe ent any of that.. I just know that whenever u work with anyone under the age of 18 that here are always a billion things u seem to have to comply with, forms for this forms for that, common sense ent worth jack nowardays remember. I just wanna be covered. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  22. Been asked by my girlfriends youger brother if i could take him fpr a weeks work experience from college... Now its something ive never even thought about before so have no idea what loopholes i need to jump through or what the law says etc, im sure ill be able to find out easy enough on the net, just wondering if anyone else has ever done it and if there anything i should consider or if i should avoid completely etc.. Insurance/qualification/crb etc etc.. Any thoughts much appreciated as always. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  23. Haha ah well! gotta take the rough with the smooth aye the smiles never last do they!
  24. I love it when u get a nice easy deadwooding job and the weathers good, give you a chance to actually enjoy the climb without being up against it all the time with the rain washing sawdust in your eyes and the customer wondering 'why it isnt done yet' a climber actually smiling in the tree... a rarity!
