  3. I disagree it isn't helped by those parts you describe but I think the problems there to start with, I'm not sure what the problem is wether it's due to the workforce ethics, design etc but whatever it is there are problems there to start with
  4. Hi I'm thinking of hiring a bigger chipper than my Jo beau, with or without operator, in Monton Manchester. Probably be a weekend job. If you can't take the chip too even better. It's pretty much all connie, pm with a price cheers mike

  6. A quick google of cow parsley showed up sweet cicely as having the aniseed smell when it's crushed, ches guys
  7. I bought a leccy one for cutting wood at home, about as noisy as an angle grinder, was a cheap flymo one but it didn't last long till I burned the motor out, it was handy though for the noise aspect

  19. I've got a Jo beau, out of those two id pick the Jo beau, the timber wolf seems to be all wrong, surely the idea of a small gravity fed chipper is its portability? If your gonna get a tow along might as well get a decent size one?

  21. I had a Harkie in my old job, while it was waterproof and quite nice to wear, I didn't half sweat in it, I'd liken it to the cheap waterproof trousers you get where the sweat stays inside and you end up stinking and damp. I'd get another for bad weather but not for the price they cost

  23. I had a pulsarail long sleeve t shirt thought it was great, got it from a place in Heywood Nr bury, Manchester safety clothing or something.
