  1. Andrew Lewis, Maindiff farm, Abergavenny, but he's not free.
  2. Thanks for the answers boys, pretty much what I thought unfortunately. Have to come up with another idea.
  3. Hi folks Whats fresh felled ash like to build with? I'm looking at building a bridge at a local scout camp site, theres a lot of good sized ash and alders there. What I'd like to do is go down with the alaskan and just mill some ash stems to size and knock the bridge up. Minimum fuss and cost sort of thing. Good idea or bad?
  4. Amazing comments, very Ayn Rand (look it up), very right.
  5. Ask a similar question aimed at the utility side, might be a different answer - might not.
  6. Have you had anybody out to look at it? A few of the local firms have got mills - or at least access to them. Theres a bloke call Andrew Hewitt out towards Hereford that runs a mobile mill. Even I've got an alaskan mill, there no shortage of local options!
  7. Phone the nptc and ask them Scotty.

  9. 5 x 22mm Parrel Beads - FREE Delivery with every order to the UK
  10. Crop rotation. You don't always want to keep land in pasture and its a bit of a bugger to try to plough around 50 odd trees. However having just gone through a fair few pages of this thread, our tree officer is going to be getting asked a few questions. (because he knows more than me )
  11. Only ever grease mine when I remember and can be bothered which isn't very often. Had to take out the nipples and blow them clean last time. Haven't had to change them in the last 3 years. '85 110 +2 inchs used for work and play
  12. They on a foot path or private land? Wouldn't mind having a look.
  13. How much of a rush are you in for it?
  14. These are on an independent circuit with a fused relay and switch on the dash (not illuminated, been through 2 mots) Work well and make going backwards alot easier at night.
