1.
Yep you should have ordered last weekend! But a car battery is best - I don't think it would run on a charger as not enough current.

  2.
In fact I may just do this as an offer for today and the weekend!

  3.
I see Beau well the grinding stones come in 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4" and 5/16" although I think I may be out of the 5/16" at the mo... but I'll do you the same offer buy a grinder and I will do buy one pack of grinding stones get one free.

  4.

That was 9 months ago Richie! Have you registered on my website - Chainsawbars ? bars, chains and chainsaw accessories

If so what's your surname? I'll do you the usual 10% off as well as give you a free pack of grinding stones for every pack you order so buy one get one free.

Rob

  5.

Good point there - maybe you could do it but not sure... looking at vids on youtube the sharpeners look quite complex...

I don't know but I don't think so the sharpeners in the vids seem to stroke up the back then down the front...

  6.

Alright Oli - just tried to call you! And didn't realise you were an arbtalker...

Not sure why the website said payment failed yet the paypal payments seemed to come through - did you pay on a visa card this morning? If so I'll refund that other paypal payment.

Also have put in £35-00 of spare parts to make up for your discount you didn't claim!

  7.

Alright there... go onto my website Chainsawbars ? bars, chains and chainsaw accessories

I can then set discount to 10%. Postage - hmmm I have it at £29-50... but I suppose it could go royal mail....

Get signed up first then have a look at the various carving stuff there and we'll sort out what you want to buy first,

Rob

  8.
Have sent you a PM David, Rob

  9.
Yep - if you go on my website Chainsawbars ? bars, chains and chainsaw accessories and sign up. Then let me know and I can set the 10% discount, Rob

  10. Alright Ryan - the MS200T - you can fit any of the carving bars really - go for an Oregon or Cannon - these are the best.. start £60-00+vat

Also you need a 1/4" sprocket £23-00+vat as only Stihl have them.

the MS260 is trickier.... you really want whats called a 'blocking out bar' for this saw (running a smaller diameter tipped bar called a 'toonie').

I don't have the toonie bars listed yet but they are around £100-00 for a Cannon 16" and I can get one for you if you want one. These will then run the .325 chain so no need to change the sprocket.

Register on my website Chainsawbars ? bars, chains and chainsaw accessories

  11. Ok Adam - and I've flagged that problem with the website developer as it has cropped up a couple times.

So your discount is set - for a smaller order - place it and then on checkout hit 'cancel'. If you think will be larger and weigh more than 5 kilos then go all the way through and pay as normal as it will have to go via UPS then.

  12. Yes we send to France - if it's just a bar and x2 chains prob best to send Royal Mail but not sure how much it will be... I get charged £30-00+vat now using a UPS service for parcels up to 25kg.... Around 2 to 3kg is cheaper Royal Mail.

Best thing is go to website, sign up straight away then send me a PM or message here so I can set your discount of 10%.

Then order - if only a smaller order when you get right to the end and it's asking what card type hit cancel... this still sends me a copy of the order. I'll have to then collect payment after sending.

    File size 3/16".

    Hope this makes sense, Rob

  13. Good stuff Alex - enjoy!

  14. Alright Alex - you should get your mill Tuesday.

  15. Tis £180-00+vat - 4% free delivery.

Cheers, Rob (make sure you sign up on my chainsawbars.co.uk website!)

  16. Alright TrollS - no I don't sell it. I've tried it but I don't know - I thought it seemed to cause a drop in power myself as the saw seemed to have to work harder to pull the air through... I've gone back to the original (a while ago now) and just clean it out more often and try not to cut that last plank straight off the deck... but it's not ideal I know that fine dust gets through..

  17. Yep - all the Stihl bars are on the website Chainsawbars ? bars, chains and chainsaw accessories

All the Husky bars I have but have yet to add them to website...

  18. Alright Mark... hmmm yes really in between mills with that but you could get an Alaskan 36" mill and also a small log mill upright (usually £50-00+vat but will do for £40-00+vat). What this means is you can use the Alaskan 36" mill like a small log mill giving you max cut with that bar as it only clamps on near the saw dogs.

But if you get a larger saw later you can then fit the Alaskan 36" to that...

I don't advise using the Alaskan like this because the Alaskan has 2 flat clamps which don't grip the bar in the same way a small log mill does,

    Rob

  19. Hi sean I had left a message on my visitor board but can you PM or text me your phone number as I need this for the courier before I can send your mill,
