  7. I'm back and well knackered. I'd like to thank all the exhibitors and all you guys that came down to the show. It was the first time I have organised my own show and without exhibitors and punters, there would be no show. I need to thank so many people: I can't thank Richard from Kingswood enough for letting me hold the show on his ground Andrew Cowan for doing the Talks Nick Potts for doing such a great job running the competitions and giving up at least a week of his time to make sure everything went well Steve Bullman for letting me advertise on here, I'm sure the arbtalk community contributed no end to the show's success Mick Stockbridge for dropping off timber for the demos The list could go on and on - sorry if I've missed anyone! I hope everyone had a good time and I covered everything, but I need feedback from you guys on anything that would improve it for next year. Please be honest if anything wasn't quite right. Was very impressed with how clean and tidy Arb show punters are - went around with a litter picker after the show, but could only fill half a black sack! There are a couple of lost-and-found items to try to reunite with their owners: - A case for a Leatherman - A single Nike trainer (believed to be previously enjoyed by John Shuttler..? How does someone lose just one shoe?!?) Please get in touch to have claimed items sent back to their rightful owners. Have got a load of photos to post soon, but the camera is buried under a pile of show stuff for now... Thanks again to all and here's to a bigger and better one next year!

All kit will be provided but you can use your own if you wish. Examine the samples provided and identify each within the given time. There will be 2 tiers of competition, with and without the book, so why not have a go.
  20. Dean are you going to enter the Fungi ID comp at the show?, as I dont seem to have your booking come through.
  21. Just got back from a week away, loaded the printer with paper so I could print of all the comp entry forms, but not one entry has come through. I have checked the forms and they are working, but if anyone has tried to enter in the last week please let me know because it hasn't come through. Come on guys - come and have a go, we need a minimum amount of entries for the comp to run. You don't need to be a great climber, just come along and have a bit of fun.
  22. Sorry mate have been away for a week so you will need to deal with the shop, as they don't have access to my arbtalk account.
