  1. I've never been into cars much ( except my series 1 landrover now sold.) This is what I like to storm round town in.
  2. Biff er down guv. Note the thin Ash on the right and the right hand branch on the Oak. We knew they would connect and bam. I was well out the way but the camera man shat his self when the Oak branch landed on the patio.
  3. At last the pics upload for me . Insurance job this one , cracked walls etc. Behind the tree was an old clay pit filled with stinking mud , what a splash , what a smell. Lucky it can all stay put, dont even have to burn up.
  4. Yeah why not, remember... you have to earn your employer a lot more than that to cover your wages, sick/holiday pay , supplied equipment and employers National insurance, possibly even pension contributions. so you have to do 30,000 pounds of climbing before he makes a profit on you.
  5. Try again, mozilla here we come. no chance...
  6. Find your Chi 氣 and all else will follow.
  7. But what about the TV appearance money...
  8. Todays project. actually it seems the pics are not uploading at the mo.
  9. I only ever paid one guy 150 a day and he was Andre the Hungarian cockney. If you met him you would understand what I mean. If you saw him work you see why he was worth the money
  10. There are five editions of the parts diagrams listed at the above link you just gotta look.
  11. I would be happy if i could get any pics up this afternoon Ed. Bright idea though.
  12. A little brown but nothing unusual , plenty of beefstake fungus found here, but I have never seen Fistulina do that.
  13. yes look for the bog roll at the back... ... nobody sh-ts in front of a tree.
  14. Was forced to use my 357 yesterday as the sprocket went on the 372 IT was fine till it went bad on me . Its going back in the shed ASAP. bring back the 262 please
  15. one of my customers has a DIY tractor for his 5 acre garden, he loves it . " came in a box from India" he told me . Suits him fine but he is no pro user.
  16. thats why FBT wanted to give me 16 months for theprice of 12 at renewal time ( forgot to pay and now its too late.)
  17. I bet your the guys that over ran on the job before christmas and delayed us getting it on hire by 2 days grrr... ...from within the treemurder triangle....
  18. I saw that vid about a week ago and as far as I can see they are tree fellers, paid to put trees on the deck. They where not there for fine tip pruning. Sometimes twig ticklers can be so far up their rear ends its not true. If a tree has to got to go, its got to go. If its got room to fall straight then fell it. Why monkey about when an 088 and winch will do the trick. To see a big tree go(sadly)
  19. I agree with those that do not think using a MEWP as a crane is a good idea. What about the PUWER regs. The MEWP is not designed or provided as a crane. But here is one pic of a machine that was great for a days hedging at a manor house with manor house sized hedges . Last time we used one of these from a different company who supplied the operator .I swore I would never use one again, but I did and realised that it was the operator who was cr@p not the machine. The hedge was not the one shown but pleached hornbeams trimmed to form square standard trees. 12'x12' I'll find a pic...
  20. No thanks , nor have I used a Dolmar for 18 years . I would not buy a saw that I could not get parts for in a 10 mile radius of home. Why take a chance unless it's at someone elses expense.
  21. It may have been posted before but Husqvarna owners can find user manuals and parts diagrams on the main Husqvarna website. The link is below, ideal for the winter evening rebuilds. http://www.husqvarna.co.uk/node980.aspx Just enter the model , tick the box and search. Results are in pdf format.
  22. I go with edenarb on the 365. If you can find one. To skimp on a saw and buy a cheapie may cost you dear in the down time and useful life of the saw. Pay the extra 100 quid now and save many times that later.
