When I dug up my lawn I discovered an ancient road beneath. I asphalted the whole thing rapidly before the authorities discovered it,its heating to see inscets warming themselves up on the tarmac, its like a sunbed for creepy crawlies.

Thing is,people could actually do something about the migrant problem but they can't be arsed. If half a million people protested parliament whilst half a million picketed the beaches then the message would get through. That's just one out of 67 people with the front to do something. Democracy works both ways, the power still lies with the people if they want to use it.

With so many Brits dreaming of immigrating, why would you bother staying? I lived in the UK for five years, none of my Kiwi/ Aussie/ Saffie mates are still there now and alot of their mates left. The UK is buggered for the most part. You won't get rid of the endemic problems you already have, especially since the government delights in importing more.

I am surprised no one caught a ricochet in that incident.Good that the nonce is dead.

Those bombs were fused at the tail because the nose ,well actually the whole casing was drop forged in order to be armour piercing projectile. Christ only knows how deep into the mud that thing was. There is actually the arse section of a " Tall Boy" in a clients garden over here, you can see where the nuts have been forced into the plate when it went off,the bombers couldn't fly back to the UK with that bomb on board so they had to drop them in order to make it home. The crater is about 2km from her place, the plate might have landed there or someone might have found it. The Richard Montgomery had some of her cargo offloaded after she ran aground, maybe they don't know how much or what was taken off though? The former luftwaffe airfield on Herdla still has the demo charges buried in the runway because its a bird sanctuary now. Strange but true.

It has been in the sea for almost 80 years though. Here at least the clearance divers seem to add more HE to the demolition charge to remind people that the stuff can still be hazardous. From memory the fuzes on aerial bombs are more hazardous than the main charge. None of the ariel bombs on that ship were fuzed, just the bomb let's ,so what is the chance of sympathetic detonation of all of it? I guess in an accident with that ship,it's not what gets destroyed I the blast radius that's the problem,it's launching bits of ship and uxo into the surrounding area? In Bergen a ship carrying 12,000 tonn of explosives blew up in town, bits of the ship are still on the hillside.

Could they not rig it , cover it in a million ton of sand, then set it off? How viable is the cargo after 77 years in the sea?

If you take the fitting off the end of a regular grease gun,the threads on the hose match those on the Hedge cutter gearbox casing.

Why do you need a certificate to shoot a deer? Is it not just " look there is a deer I want to shoot, standing in a safe place to shoot it?" BANG! Deer for dinner.

Its got a key on the shaft Gareth, that bolt won't shear unless that key give out and it won't. I have been using a bolthole through there for 16 years on several machines. The joint between the UJ and the shaft gets slack and shatters roll pins. I think you are right about the original roll pin just being there to stop the shaft sliding out if you need to lift up the roller after you take off the spring.

I did but ended up chucking about £400 a month away. When I changed my card my subscription fell away and I never noticed any difference in enquiry numbers.

I don't think it does have a grub screw, mine didn't. It's probably got a wee bit of slop there now ,keep the 8.8 bolt in it you will likely shatter a roll pin.

I would approach some firewood sellers locally. They will get bulk loads delivered and have the kit onsite to load your ifor. In addition they might keep an eye out for logs that have a bit of character that you could earn more from with your wood turning.

I can imagine it. " Can ye taste it Micky?" * muffled yelps from Mick as he tries to find the lady lozenge amidst the Ginger pelt*

No Unless she has a giant unkept muff reminiscent of a slumbering Highland cattle beast.
