  1. we just use 3 bit of ply ziptied together, looks gypoish but its heavy enuff to with stand flying rocks and dont fall over!!!
  2. i like that last bit, a happy crew is a efficient crew..... the bit about keeping your cool when a jobs going wrong is hard sometimes, especially if there has been occurences like what rentachimp has done, but i do find the happier you are the easier it is. i also found that at my last firm the lad i worked with was always ahead of the game and knew what i was going to do b4 i did it just by they way i acted in the tree, weather i was spitting my dummy out, or doing some tricky rigging he was always waiting with the right amount of wraps on the capstain or helping me out with where and what to do next, communication is always the best policy, if in doubt, shout it out..

  5. when to a ash today and it had the usual ionotis(dont know how to spell it sorry) and stag headed-ness, a work dude poked his hand on a suspicious bit of wood and his arm went straight thru!!!!!!! must of been 3 ft across at waist height too!!!!! i got a mate to stand in the hole, he is a big lad!!! oh and notice the young fille we had working with us today!!!!!! she loved it up in the basket with me.. nice hole!!
  6. have had it for a while now, not to my liking tho!!!! my new place has a teupen, bin using it today, best mewp of that size and caliper ive ever used!!!
  7. yeah they would trust me!!! i had a local in my neck to have a birth ''strawberry'' mark and ended up needing to lie down, trouble is i didnt make it all the way down to the bed and passed out!!!!!!!!! it was only the size of a 5 pence piece too!!!!!!! the worst bit was tho i pissed my self and woke up to 5 strangers around me and a work mate out side the door having wood taken out his eye!!!!!! you cant take me anywhere!!!

  12. i got to work and turned around at the gates!!!! ended up going into leicester and spending more than i earn in a day:151: and also picked up a pole saw!!!! didnt fit in the mk by a long way so i had to take it out the box!!!!

  18. ahh thats it beacon hill, we got took up there to sort a few dead branches and some hangers, they wouldnt let us spike up(obviously) and the bottom brance was about 70ft up!!!! and they wouldnt get a lift for us, think its still there now hanging above a path!!!!!!!! rather them than me

  20. well i havent seen it b4, and ive changed my ways alot from being on here.........as i only really ever climbed with 5 climbers that were stuck in there old skool ways............. all is good now tho
  21. nice vid dude, interesting to see, ive got my 3rd crane job next week on some lovely pops, always helps to see how others do it from in the tree
