Thanks for the advice. If I ran my own crew they'd be walking to site everyday, or they'd be contorted into the hopper, and they'd be sleeping in the back of the pickup, if they were lucky they might find some fungi amongst the pissy chip piles at the back. I might even give them a tarp when it snows.

Surely people can just work a bit harder to afford to be able to tax their truck? The only reason I see where you need a double cab is to carry workers, if that is the case they should be factored into the cost of a job.
