  1. You can't and even if you can, you can't use it.
  2. This is video made by a friend of mine, it may interest some of you climbing types. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4FMjzNnjf8&feature=player_embedded]YouTube - The Secret Weapon ![/ame]
  3. I avoided import taxes a few years ago as the gear was purchased in the states by a friend who then re-packed the gear in a plain carboard box then marked the box as sports equipment for customs and sent it to his sister who lives near me. Naughty though, it wasn't my idea, honest, so I never told you right?
  4. Lucky for you that you have a sensible contact with your LA.
  5. They are in some places:sneaky2:
  6. I know a guy with a 10" on his mog who's for hire or are you thinking bigger?
  7. 75k? I could buy a brace and have change.
  8. The Singing Tree Rope Wrench.
  9. It's still the arse end of nowhere;) That said I could sell my house here and buy a castle in New Zealand with the money.
  10. I had a good time working in Sydney, the heat takes a little getting used to, the bugs also, the money was not any better than what I was earning here at the time, but i loved hanging round the beach at dinner time admiring the sea views.
  11. I was wondering what rope that was, Donaghys make some nice rope. The eye really should not pull out that easy though, the 16 strand splices I have done have never come apart and would take more than human manual effort to pull the splice apart.
  12. I have a large amount of Poplar you can have if you pick it up, site is in Bath.
  13. I buy all my twine from Chandlery Boat Sailing Equipment I used Marlow No16 for 19mm double braid. Craig, 16 strand eye splice can pull out under low loads which is why it's important to whip lock it for security, I would be interested in the results of the break test.
  14. I wonder if you could use a line gun over here, would you need a firearms licence for the 22 blanks? Lovely lady!
  15. It may be the HT lead leaking Andy, I have a normal Stihl trimmer and it acted the same as your long reach, it was earthing the charge for the spark, the only way it keeps running is to put the HT lead only slightly on the plug, if you fit it on properly it cuts out.
  16. Swedish fornicater.
  17. The size is not the problem it's the dexterity of the M-Grips that I like.
  18. Thanks 505uk is my normal supplier but say the M-Grips are no longer produced, I have the blue gloves also, last longer but more cumbersome.
  19. My normal supplier no longer supplies these gloves which I normally buy by the hundred, anybody know of anywhere else that these gloves are available or a similar alternative at a good price?
  20. He will have a ball, just make sure he grows a nice mullet before he leaves just so he fits in.
  21. I'll ask my mate today Dave.
  22. Rupe is talking total sense as usual, I wouldn't worry at all, pass that tray of BS straight back to the boss, that's why he gets paid more than you do, it's his responsibility and his alone.
  23. Indeed.
  24. Will, I bent an old needle and snapped the eye out of a new needle last night whip locking AP, try whipping further away from the eye splice where it's less tight. As for shorter burys you need to be careful, stitching the crossover is vital and making the taper slightly blunter is what was recommended to myself to do.
