  1. Sawpod are an existing sponsor of Arbtalk and have supported us in various past events. Their contribution to this years raffle is one of their fantastic sawpods and a sawpod fleece, raffled as 2 seperate prizes.
  2. F.R.Jones & Son are a family-run business based in South-East London, specialising in horticultural and arboricultural equipment, supplies and service. Their contribution to this years raffle is a pair of Stein standard boots, A 3m flip line, 5 X 3.5m split tails, and 2 X Stein Reflex helmets
  3. The Arbtalk Charity raffle starts today December 4th 2009 and will run up till 6pm GMT on January 4th 2010 with results expected within 48hours of the closing date.........exact date and time to be announced. We have some fantastic prizes up for offer, and despite it being a difficult year we hope you will all generously support this event once again. All proceeds will be going to www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk. The charity was chosen by the members here at arbtalk 2 years ago by means of a poll and has become the chosen benefactor of several events since. This is a private raffle open to Arbtalk members only. It is free to join and participate at Arbtalk and takes only a few minutes to register. Regrettably prizes can only be sent out within the UK. Raffle tickets cost £5 for 5 tickets. With the help of The Childrens Trust, we have made the ticket purchasing process easier this year. You may now donate by clicking on the following link http://www.thechildrenstrust.org.uk/arbtalk IMPORTANT-As there is a possible gain to be made from your donation it is not eligible for gift aid. Please leave this box unchecked. Thank you. Please be sure to put your Arbtalk username(not your own name) in the appropriate box. Your raffle numbers will be assigned to you via the private message system here on Arbtalk once i receive confirmation of your donation from the children's trust. Please allow up to 7 days for me to process these as I expect the event to be quite busy this year. You will also receive a receipt for your transaction. Please take some time to view the prize list, which is then broken down into individual threads to show who donated what. Any problems or issues with anything above please do not hesitate to ask for help. Thank you for your participation, and lets hope its an even better one this year!

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
