  1. its meant as a rigging aid for placing ropes towards the outer branches. really cant see the need for it personally......but i guess if you struggle to get ou on limbs it has its place.
  2. i saw one in bts last time i was in. not sure if any of the sponsors have them.
  3. im not sure when they switched to the euro5........but i would have to assume that the difference in mileage you are getting to me, you must be the euro4. i was discussing this with someone the other day....the euro 5 has poorer fule economy but better emissions.....think id prefer a euro4 looking at your mpg!!

  5. the d22 did have its fair share of problems so i read...the d40, particularly the latest models are a different beast altogether.
  6. yes it is. no complaints so far, but only picked it up friday!
  7. thats exactly why i got it!! and with my new trailer i can cut hair non stop for a month before even needing to unload!!

  9. thats good...i get 25. what engine do you have.....the new ones have euro 5? i think which apparently is juicier than the predecessor/

  12. i have a d40, cant comment on its off road abilities so much.....but its a lovely drive
  13. i dont find any particular handle stands out for me.....most of mine are orgeon wooden ones though.....if you're out in the field and stuck for a handle.....elder is good...already has the hollow in the centre for you to stick your file into.
  14. one of the companies i climb for has grp.....holds up very well indeed and looks very smart. the biggest pro that i see with grp is that it can it can be repaired(patched up) i believe.....whereas ali you'd be looking at replacing whole panels/sheets. sure someone will correct me if im wrong.

  19. i think its a great idea......sticking an ali tipper or the like on a pickup really ruins the look for me personally
  20. you'd be surprised how much blood i could squeeze from a turnip:sneaky2: incidentally in the uk, we use "stone" but turnip works:001_smile:
