Vermeer have launched the new SC48TX Tracked Stump Grinder. Powered by a CAT C1.7 48hp Diesel Engine and weighing in at 1,700kg, the all new SC48TX Delivers high efficiency from engine to the stump grinding wheel with a direct drive system. It has a swing-out workstation with the option of radio remote. The chip blade makes easy work of cleaning up the jobsite. Cutting depth below ground is 16” and the cutting height above ground 28”. The EVO 205TT includes all of the features now synonymous with the range, such as a wide in-feed chute and horizontal rollers to offer higher productivity and a smooth flow of material together with a heavy flywheel which produces unparalleled processing power for a machine of its size. It also incorporates GreenMech’s unique disc-blade chipping technology, with six blades per flywheel providing an accurate slicing action and an expected life of over 900 hours per set. At the heart of the EVO 205TT is a Stage V Kubota 50hp diesel engine which, in combination with GreenMech’s ‘Smart Sense’ controller, delivers powerful performance with optimised fuel consumption.
