    There’s other tomograms than picus but they all basically do the same thing. Nothing else out there that I’m aware of. There was thermal imagine quite a few years back but that just turned out to be a big scam. not always necessary to do multiple tests, depends on the circumstances

    Yep exactly what Pete said. The single thing I found they excelled on was penetrating through Ivy due to the angle.

    When they first came out the euro gaffs were pretty much default, had to special order regular gaffs.

    My first pair had the euro gaffs, horrendous things! Tried and tried to get used to them but gave up and bought the short gaffs. Can't see any reason for them to gaff out other than muscle memory. Perhaps you just need to learn to angle your legs slightly differently.

    Short spikes are better. What spurs did you have before? A slight different angle can really throw off your muscle memory but you WILL adjust. How long have you been persevering?

    Rain all night and apparently it’s chaos here again judging by posts in the local Facebook group. Certainly not as bad as the other week and for the most part people are just being hysterical. Roads are closed, schools are closing etc etc. if there’s one thing the nation learned exceptionally well from covid it’s how to be as lazy as possible, and how it’s acceptable to cower under a rock at the first sign of trouble or hardship. anyway, before the electricity goes out I must go and make myself a hot chocolate and snuggle under my blanket

    I’d say virtually zero chance due to its location. If it were in open ground and you dig it up with a mini digger and a massive rootball then it might have had a chance

    Yes you're not supposed to just turn up, that was one of the reasons I made the directory a premium feature in the first place in order to cut down on it being abused. Obviously need to clamp it down a bit tighter.

    An update on the tip site directory. We now have over 1500 sites listed that offer a financial incentive for using them. Just a reminder, keep an eye out for the grey pins! In total there are now over 13,500 sites throughout the UK to choose from.

    Hmmm not sure. We took the missus's car off the road during covid and we've been a 1 car family ever since. Getting to the point now with the shop that a second car would be useful again though. I'd probably say at this point it wouldn't be electric.

    Which model did you get? Bet the acceleration is an improvement on what you had before! I had one on pre-order back in 2020, then covid hit so I cancelled due to the uncertainty

    What sort of file are you trying to upload?

    Mark and Dan nailed it really. Its all about refining the hitch. Even just making the legs a tad shorter (by a miniscule amount) might fix the problem, although you might then find the hitch doesn't self tend as well in other circumstances where you do want it to. Theres worse problems to be have to be honest.

    Im sure the cider survived! I'll double check with our neighbour though as we rely on him for our vinegar!

    Probably have more luck at https://arboristsite.co.uk as this forum is uk based. Some regional knowledge will probably be helpful, specially with the lack of leaves
