  1. If Billy's tackle shop doesn't have it try the Chinese supermarket freezer?
  2. Ah naa! I had been away for over 45 years and found a face ache page of my old school and he and a few others weren't on it but a quick search found him, which was nice as one of my best mates died in the early 90's iirc he was a tree surgeon and died in a work accident. I've still not got to see any gigs in little buildings yet 😕
  3. Many moons ago I got given my first fishing rod, now I have around 15 for various ways of securing myself something tasty to eat and enjoy catching tiddlers as much as shark however I never enjoyed watching it until now... https://www.fishtrack.com/article/how-to-catch-and-rig-live-ballyhoo Don't think I will see that on a boat on the north sea but it keeps me interested
  4. If there's any confusion call him Nalla, I'm pretty sure he won't mind.
  5. I know that place, and I went to school with him...small 🌎
  6. Not an expert but my daughter bought a house with a dense conifer hedge ,Leylandii, on 2 sides and built into a 2ft wall and as we cut away we found lots of rotten stumps from earlier hedges and now we are 7 years or so from taking out the hedge and no problem with the walls so far. There was a wasp bite in one of the root balls but other than that...👍
  7. Jawanna hug?
  8. Found these lovely bits today, about 9-14" dia and close to the road. I think someone took an axe to it and the council cut it down properly last year but one of the guys has either secreted them for himself or couldn't be bothered to lift them, so I ensured they didn't end up rolling down the hill onto the road.
  9. Not got access to the pics but, Rimington 11-87, beretta Xtrema 2, beretta 686, 2x tikka in 6.5x55 and. 222 both sharing wildcat mods and night force and meopta optics, my rimfire eventually got too inaccurate so was chopped and I did have a 10 for a while but the Xtrema is better and lighter. Always fancied getting Alan Myers to make me a semi 8 bore but hevi shot etc made 8's etc just lovely curiosity pieces.
  10. Thanks for your reply 👍
  11. Not sure as the leaves are small, what's your thoughts please?
  12. Forgot to add, the Arada is easy to disassemble as well as I sweep my own flue.
  13. Most of the above were ones we looked at before we settled on an Arada clear view 5kw and we decided on multi fuel to give us further options as we have gas central heating as well. We use every night we are at home throughout the season however we also burn 24hrs over Christmas or if its sub zero for any length of time. Its a 60+ year old bungalow so designed for a solid fuel fire and a through flow of air from the rest of the house.
  14. Go for it. Are you saying all Germans were taught this? Did any see through this ideology? Are you sure, can you say for sure that all who aren't Muslim are kafir? Or is it something that you have been taught? These needs further references or an explanation of how you come to this point. I think you need to expand this with suitable references as with the above, otherwise you may have to explain why you have come to these conclusions.
  15. I'm sure that these things are not related but I'm sure that the ginger one will make the least of it for the moment but will leave it on the table.
  16. I've used a workmate style bench single handed by having a chain loop around it all that I held in place with my foot, a bit slow but suitable at the time. I now have a dwarf wall in the garden and a halved pallet, the limbs sit nicely for the most part and if its a long limb the boss feeds it horizontally until I can manage myself
  17. I presume that is spalting (is that the right name?) In it? I have some rounds drying from other species that have the same look for garden table coasters etc
  18. A high functioning alcoholic possibly. They have routes and their preferred beverage, a neighbour had a preference for carling and got 2x 10 or 12 packs every day but he didn't have the social stigma or job that some alcoholics do so sat at home and scuppered the lot. A lovely place between Dundee and Coupar Angus had a lot of white lightning plastic bottles in most passing places/lay-bys, not many shops about so could have been a motorist who was also a high functioning alcoholic but interestingly white lightning tends to be young people or severe alcoholics bevvy of choice along with dragon soup and other 7-8+% flavoured cheap alcohol.
  19. You should, I would have hooked the fat git within a minute, well done Zelenski
  20. One good thing would be that you can unscrew it from your leg easily.
  21. I started with a couple of files as some American chap recommended a chisel edge but he's wrong. Fortunately I could get it back to close to the original as it wouldn't pick up a plasticine log! It's fine now but I may have to get something to pick up split rounds as it still doesn't like lightweight bits of wood.
  22. It has sepsis and a slow death written all over it 😱
  23. Total and utter cuckoo land https://www.google.com/amp/s/news.sky.com/story/amp/trump-shares-ai-video-of-gaza-vision-featuring-golden-statues-bearded-belly-dancers-and-netanyahu-on-a-sunbed-13317241
  24. In regards to stumps, I see a few that the council/sub contractors have left from trees at roadsides, mostly whitebeam, and the stump height varies from about 1m to ankle height. Is there any reason why there is such a variation or is it just a time is money?
  25. Yeah I should have said, its a weed around here but I really like it as it cuts and splits easily, dries quickly and even if it doesn't kick out the most heat, there's enough about so a win win.
