One from last night and a bit further back is Bella Culley who was pregnant and caught with hash and marijuana in her case entering Georgia. As part of the plea her parents raised £130+K and she gets out instead of doing the 2 years the plea would have got her? What kind of justice system is that?

OK, when the attack first came to light you said this; The decision to attack innocent civilians whilst on a high speed train is a calculated and evil act. Nowhere to run or hide, limited to zero security before boarding and the knowledge that the emergency services can’t get onboard for a significant period of time.... There is as you alluded to a price in human lives that politicians ( in particular the current uk administration) are willing to pay rather than have the leadership and guts to make changes. If you aren't jumping to conclusions here then please let us know what you actually meant

Seems likely from reports from eye witnesses that the perpetrator wanted suicide by police and was suffering from mental illness or under the influence of drugs. On top of that a derailment on the west coast line near Shap but thankfully no injuries reported.

Counting house is pretty good, I've spent a fair amount of time and money there with no problems, I was even on Dows on Dundas St when England played Scotland and no problem at all. Spoons do Leffe on tap now so I keep my visits short and sweet.

Are you sure? I remember a bottle of dog was 24 1/2p at the Punch Bowl in 76-77, sounds a bit low. My grandad said, but didn't follow through, that he wouldn't drink in the club if it went over a pound back in the mid 90's.....

£3-60 for a pint, in the local I prefer, 20p cheaper along the road where you get every man and his dog vaping so no go for me. The boss's G&T is just under a fiver, not the cheap gin neither.

He is or appears to be stupid or so full of himself in the interview, however he hasn't been proven guilty of anything else, apart from association.
