yes the material is expensive and does not last too long on the back of your chipper or tipper , i dont know if any of you work on motorways but from past experience its even worse . the trouble is that legeslation keeps changing !!!! has anyone done all of this and then been told that a single rotating beacon is not sufficiant enough to work on dule carrage ways or motorways ??

That legislation is for rear markers and tape it doesn't apply to me, I ALWAYS work facing INTO oncoming traffice, so marking the rear of the vehicle would be a waste of time.

I used to have a van, which at great expense I had marked up all round with reflective strip. Beacons on the roof etc etc.

The wide reflective tape is very expensive and the reflective paint is even dearer

Domestic only CTS :001_smile:

best way mate much less trouble . it has now got to the stage down here where it is expected than any plant such as a chipper , mini digger , stump grinder must also comply , thankfull wheel barrows dont have to lol , granted this is only on the A30 or A38 but its still a pain in the arse
