What chipper is it and how far?

 

Generally anything you are towing with "large goods" ought to be man enough but some weedy efforts just don't have the "oooomph" and the chip just blocks the thing up

 

Test it by jamming a length if drain tube over it, some wet leylandii will be the acid test

No, I have a hiab behind the cab of the lorry, so to keep it tipping I had to extend the tow bar. The bed is 12ft, so when the chips reach the body end there's quite a wide spray, meaning the chips bounce out. If I extend the length of the Shute would I get a better spray?
