A friend doing a reptile survey on a development site sent me this photo of foliage turning white on an ash and wondered if I knew what's caused it, lm unable to go have a look having just had hernia op, he said owner and developers want rid but lpa have said retain so is wondering if something been poured on roots? My first thoughts were it looked more like a climber flowering!

Unfortunately it's the only pic I have until I can drive again (next week), I will see if he can get a better one before though
