was on E Bay last friday needed a chain for 338xpt looked and seen chainsdirect ordered one got it next day cheap as well, they have web site Chainsdirect very happy with it

id recomend them too . . miles better than our local useless dealer who never is able to make a 36inch chain fit a 36 inch bar

im not disagreeing with you guys youve got to go with whos cheaper but i always thought chains and stuff like that the smaller stuff of the buisness shall we say would be local buisness'.

id happily use local buisnesses if they offer good service . . but our local saw shop is utterly useless, they never have any of the consumables like clutch springs, air filters, anti-vibe rubbers, 12inch ms200t bars in stock, they then have to order them, mess up the order (gaurenteed), re order, 2 weeks later i may if im lucky get hold of it, on the internet on the otherhand, 3 days and the same cheaper parts are at my door . . if the local buisnesses got their act together, i would use them

i have used them in the past as well, for chains for my 084 a lot cheaper than local dealers, but i still try and support them where possible, but thats getting harder and harder, with the internet often being over 10% cheaper, which over a year on most kit is quite a saving,

if have 10 saw save 10 pounds on each chain half way there for tax on van sorry hard out there
