Ian your work is really top notch, everything you display on here is a really good quality, you should be really proud to be able to produce stuff like that, i just wish i had the space to set up a lathe, maybe in a few years time,

 

the morter, do you know before you start on the lathe that the grain is going to be that good? or do you find a nice grain and work to when you start on the lathe?

I mainly look for intresting grain patterns but these two surprised me how nice they are, the wife wants to keep it i keep telling her i'll never make any money .
