Chainsaw Boots, The Regulations?

Yes they are the ones and I'm with mark on this, just don't cut near your toes and when working in dense undergrowth keep wriggling them so you know where they are if you are of the persuasion to forget that toes are attached to feet which are in turn attached to legs which are in turn directly under you when standing.

If a job demanded I wore chainsaw gloves I wouldn't be doing it.

The whole concept is idiotic.

Also, and because I'm my own boss, I won't be buying any more 'chainsaw' boots.

Salewas/AKU etc. are so much better for climbing, and Grisports are comfy, have caps and do me for all my groundwork.

I reckon I've spent about £3k on chainsaw boots over the years, and only ever scuffed the caps when I've been lazy and foot holding when logging.

£3k on bullshit.

The salewas and aku boots, i just looked on line, are they just like regular hiking boots with no chainsaw protection? They look very comfy.
